"I cannot believe this day is finally here" Aaron said. The entire cast of Les Miserables was standing in a huge circle on stage. Aaron stood in the middle. It was opening night. We were less than an hour away from starting the show.

We stood there in costume. Well, mostly in costume. I was already nervous, my heart was starting to pound faster and faster in my chest.

"I just want to take this time to let you know how proud I am of every single one of you" Aaron continued. "When I was given this opportunity to direct such a beautiful show I felt this huge stress to make sure I could do this show justice. You guys have not only made that possible, but have made this show better than I could've ever imagined and possibly could dream. So from the very bottom of my heart I thank you. Break a leg tonight everyone."

"We love you Aaron!" Christy said. We all joined in saying how much we love Aaron and gave him the biggest group hug ever.

"Alright," Aaron smiled. "Go finish getting ready and I'll see you all after the show"

Towards the end of Act One

I'd just excited offstage after the 'The Attack on  Rue Plumet' scene. The beginning of 'One Day More' was starting to play.

"One day more.." Jeremy began.

I was watching from offstage. I felt an arm on my shoulder. It was Christian.

"I didn't slap you too hard, did I?" Christian asked. Strange enough when Christian slapped me in that scene it did sting more than normal. My face felt fine though and I didn't want to tell him that.

"No I'm fine" I said.

He wrapped me into a hug. "Good. You're doing amazing"

"You are too" I said. Then I went onstage.

"One more day all on my own" I sang. This feeling was unreal. There wasn't an empty seat in the entire theatre. They were all so involved in the show. They cried when Christy died, gasped when Christian slapped me and applause after every song lasted for what felt like an eternity. This feeling was indescribable.

"Tomorrow we'll discover what our God in heaven has in store. One more dawn. One more day. One day more"

End of Act One.

Intermission we all told each other how amazing we were doing. We rested for a moment and got ready for act two.

Act Two

"On my own, pretending he's beside me. All alone, I walk with him till morning" I sang.

I looked offstage and saw Seth, Dan and Jeremy lip syncing while sang. I quickly looked away because I knew I'd brake character if I watched them for longer than a second.

"In the rain, the pavement shines like silver. All the lights are misty in the river." I looked out in the audience. I could see Derek and Elycia. They were close to the middle of the theatre. Derek was crying. He had a tissue in hand and proceeded to wipe his tears. Elycia was consoling him. Seeing how proud they both were only made me more emotional. I continued singing. The music started building up to my big belt.

"I love him, but everyday I'm learning. All my life I've only been pretending. Without me his world will go one turning. A world that's full of happiness, that I have never known."

I could also see Aaron. He was mouthing the words along with me. Tears in his eyes as well. My eyes couldn't help but water.

"I love him. I love him" I took a longer pause than I normally did. A tear fell down my cheek. "I love him, but only on my own" a tremendous applause began.
