Chapter 2• introductions...
When My alarm went off this morning, I also heard knocking on my door. My mum knows that I'm terrible in the morning at actually getting out of bed. "Ella, get up hon, you have the interview at the school today!" I let out a groan letting my mum know I did not approve of early mornings. "Oh and Bridget is gonna meet you there and give you a tour of the school!" She continued yelling through my closed door. I made sounds to make it sound like I was getting up so my mum would leave me alone. And just as I suspected, she walked away yelling for me to hurry up. 10 more minutes and slightly disorientated, I was starting to get myself dressed and prepared for the day ahead.
*~*~*~*~*~*
An hour later I found myself in the parking lot at my soon-to-be school. The front entrance had a sign that said Coastal Queensland High School.
People were scurrying around everywhere. There were the so called 'popular' group that had met in front of the school and were now entering through the doors together. In the front and centre was a blonde girl, that had a model like body and a small smirk on her face that had at least a few 'pounds' of make-up coverage. She didn't acknowledge anyone and as she walked past them when they moved out of her way, there faces were full of admiration that I didn't understand.
I had a girl like this at my old school. She would always bother me and try make my life a living hell. Her name was Bethany Radcliffe. She had the 'perfect' image all the guys were head over heels for (haha). Yes, of course she was pretty, but her personality was nasty. All the bad words in the dictionary could describe her. I'm just glad I never have to face her again, since I left her back melbourne.
Just then, snapping me out of my thoughts, Bridget came up to me throwing her arms around me. I responded to her embrace by hugging her back tightly. When I looked over my shoulder I saw 2 girls giving me shy smiles. They didn't say anything because I think they noticed that the girl who I was with is crazy about seeing me and pretty much forgot about them.
"Hey! The principle already checked up on me making sure you were still going to come today! How generous, right?!" Bridget practically yelled into my face, as she was still jumping up and down.
Once she stopped yelling, I started to do the same with her. In our friendship we don't really care what people think when were together, we just do whatever makes us happy.
I chuckled lightly, "How did you, out of everyone in the school, get picked to give me a tour anyways? It's like fate!" I asked, it was a bit confusing, I knew it wasn't fate though. It was the works of my best friend.
"Well... Iexplainedtotheprinciplethatyoudontlikenewpeopleandwouldn'tgetagoodstart-unlessyouhadsomeoneyouknewtojumpstartyourtimehere!!!" Bridget said it so quickly without pausing for breaths. She said the start slightly quietly, Im guessing that's because she wasn't so proud of that part, she lied about something or she knew I wouldn't be that happy about it. I could barely understand her, but I just shrugged and said 'okay'.
The girls that were behind us said quietly to Bridget that they were gonna get there books, I couldn't hear them but could tell by the way they were using hand gestures. Bridget nodded before rolling her eyes and turning to me after they walked off.
"Those 2 are nothing compared to your company! I'm always bored at school these days, unless someone else entertains me for a short time." Bridget was happier when they walked off. I couldn't help but giggling.
My dear and organised mother said that we should head inside, otherwise pointing out that the principle may get disappointed that we're not coming. She had gotten used to our friendship, my mum has, and we are practically like a family so Bridget just replied to my mum with "yes, mum. Let's go!"

As we were weaving in and out of the students in the hall, the bell went and it was like all hell broke loose. In less than a minute, the halls were cleared. Almost...
A group of boys, casually walking late to class, walked past me and Bridget. I know who the are (well, not personally). They are the popular ones but in male version. Judging by their appearance, which I guess isn't the smartest thing to do, they looked as if they could be described as... Players? Bad boys, maybe? Meh.
A group of them were following 3 guys that were in front, who were bickering to themselves. Then they saw Bridget and myself. Wow. I was actually getting noticed by boys. This never happened in my old school! Even though they noticed us, they didn't stop. But just before completely passing us, the one boy closest to us winked at us, but mostly Bridget.
My immediate reaction was 'woohoo'! How cute! Wait, maybe this isn't cute... He's does looks like a little like an... Egotistical player. He has dark hair that was shaved on the sides but the top was left to grow. He had quite a strong jawline with a nice sunkissed skin. His brown eyes were really dark, almost black. He also had that Colgate smile when he winked. Typical player.
Bridget stayed cool until they had passed. My mum who was lagging behind finally caught up to us but didn't realise what had occurred.
Then the bomb dropped. Unlucky for me.
"Ella.....!! Did you see that!? He was just perfect...." Bridget's excitement turned into admiration in her eyes when she started daydreaming in her head about the 'perfect guy' that just winked at her. Yes, I knew her very, very well.
"Bridget... Stop picturing him in your mind! Now we need to go to the principles office, which door is it?" I turned to look at her and realised she was still in a trance. Freakishly weird, if you ask me. But no one does, so there goes that!
Okay I have to admit it, I rolled my eyes at her. No, it's not that I'm admitting. I turned around to see where the boys where going, and as I did, a different one to the guy before glanced at me and our eyes met (from a distance). I turned my head in the opposite direction as quick as I can, but I looked at him long enough to get his features. I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash by how quick I whipped my head around.
He. Was. Utterly. Amazing. His brown wavy hair was messy yet neat. It had a slight part on the left side. Well I think it was the left. His eyebrows were furrowed a little, causing his eyes to be in a straight line. His eyes. They were a shade lighter than his hair, but still a little dark. He showed an emotion that I didn't recognise. He emitted something along the sorts of innocence in his eyes but it was like he wanted to cover it up like a bad boy. He had the most sexiest lips. Now onto his body. He was wearing dark washed out jeans and a blue t-shirt. He had a gold chain AND a leather one with a shark tooth hanging down from it. Well, the last description I had picked up from when he was walking towards us.
Even through he was in a t-shirt you could see his masculine and built body. Basically, he was incredibly hot and sexy and... Sweet. Holy guacamole, how I wanted to see him again. But my mother and Bridget were now pushing me along the hall and to a door that read 'Principle M. J. Mannopulous'.
*~*~*~*~*~*
We walked in and were greeted by the principle, yet he had a stern look.
The interview took about 45 mins in which Bridget wasn't there because she had to go to class. She missed out on the first 15 mins and got a break after that to show me around in her 2nd period while everyone was in class.
But there was one thing still on my mind...
