Chapter• Night Out

"You did WHAT!"

"Come on Bridget, you heard me?" When I said that it came out more like a question than a statement. I had just explained to her what happened yesterday at first period, of my first day, when I bumped into the scariest (yet amazingly good-looking guy ever).

"Aw I'm so happy for you, now to figure out who he is. I have a couple of people I think it might be...."

"Well go on, so that, you know, of course I know to stay away from him..."

There was a moment of silence. It was the disbelieving type.

"Sure, sure..." she dragged those words out really long. I rolled my eyes even though she couldn't see me, and then I waited for her to continue, and she did.

"Well, I reckon it was either one of the twins from the hippie group, it sounds more like the actions of Toby rather than his brother Brody...

"Number 2 I think it could be Dexter, but I don't think he would treat a new girl THAT badly, he has a sweet side, and he's abit of a player, also a 8 out of ten in looks.

"Lastly, I think it could be Blake Hunter. Absolute hottie and bad boy of the school. Also known as a player. Sounds like something he would do, but I doubt he would be at the school, let alone for English, that early in the morning."

We both paused as we were thinking. Then I heard Bridget's mum Maria yell for Bridget to have dinner.

"Alright well I gotta go, will see ya after school tomorrow, I will meet you at 4 at the diner near the movies. See ya my little Elly-poo"

"Good night my sweet Bridgey-poo. Lots of love and kisses." I said the last bit in an accent and she made a 'mwah' sound and hung up.

It was now Thursday after noon. I was meant to meet up with Bridget today, but my parents dropped a bomb on me messaging me in class saying they couldn't pick me up. I have my liscence, but no car. Hmmmm.... What could I do...

Just then I really nice blue sports car turned on it's engine and started driving around the car park on it's way out. I noticed the guy driving as he was in a few of my classes. I couldn't remember his name though. He drove past me as I just stared at his car.

"Like what you see, little girl?" A blonde hair, hazel-eyed guy said to me (i think, yes it was) out the passanger window smirking.

"I, uh, yea it's alright... I guess" I said sending him the same smirk on my lips.

"Oh come on, you love it"

"The car yes, but I don't like your ego" I said playfully.

"Ouch little girl, no need to hurt my feelings. I was gonna ask you if you needed a ride since you've been waiting there for a while and your still talking to me" He faked being hurt by placing a hand over his chest and pouting. He was pretty cute when he did that.

"Well I'm sorry big guy, I don't even know your name..."

"Ryan Murphy. I know your name, Ella, now would you really like a ride?" I looked at him in the eyes for a moment and noticed nothing but honesty and abit of impatience so I decided to get in, gotta take some risks sometimes.

"Where would you like to go, ma'lady?" He genuinly smiled and said that in a accent which made me laugh under my breath.

"Well young sir, I was on my way to a diner, would you mind dropping me off there?"

"Let's giddy up on there then!"

In the quick car ride we laughed, and there wasn't an awkward moment, for once I was able to speak to someone normally. Something about him enabled me to open up to him.

When we got there i saw Bridget getting out the same time. We said our 'see ya's' and I thanked Ryan and smiled at him before I got out of his car. As I was walking away he yelled out the window "Have a lovely time, ma'lady!" I laughed and turned around and heard his car take off. I feel like I just said bye to an old friend that I haven't spoken to in a while.

Bridget gave me a confused look so I told her honestly what happened and she replied with "He better not be tying to replace me cause it's not gonna work. He can't be a best friend AND sister to you like me." Bridget said seriously but with a grin on her lips.

I laughed at her and said "No one could replace you, not a single person in the universe!"

We laughed and walked inside and ate a lot.

Bridget was wearing a blue long tank top and leggings with boots, carrying a black cardigan in her blue bag for later on. She has her make-up done nicely as she always did. Her brown curly hair was down and to one side. She had her contacts in instead of her gorgeous blue glasses which suited her though.

I was in my outfit I wore to school, since I didn't get to go home and change. That was leggings with a oversized but stylish tee. I also carried a jacket over my arms and had my fave high tops on. Luckily I redid my hair before we started eating and too many people noticed me because it was probably loose and messy. I simply tied it in a low ponytail with bits of my fringe out on the sides.

After that we walked over to the movies to watch Step Up all in. We bought food even though we just ate, because even though we were pretty full we couldn't watch a movie without our favourite cinemas snack, Mars Pods. Just the thought makes me hungry.

We went into the movies and enjoying our time and the sight of Ryan Guzman. *love heart eyes*

After the movie finished, we walked out and me being the clumsy one I am, spilt my coke over this blonde skinny girl, who I recognised from my school, but didn't know her name.

Bridget being the good friend that she is started laughing, but trying to keep it in. I gotta admit if I was her I would too.

"Oh. My. God. Who the hell are you! A little nerd who thinks she's so pretty just spilt her drink over my new dress!!" The group of girls behind her let out some gasps and 'oh no she didn'ts'.

"Well if you just tried to hurt me with your creative words, it didn't work. But cause I'm a better person I will give you my napkins to clean your dress with." With no 'thank you' she narrowed her eyes at me, shot me one last evil look and walked pass me bumping my shoulder, which I think she meant for it to be hard, but it was barely enough to make a 5 year old flinch.

"Th-that was HA-llar-ious!" Bridget said in between laughs.

""A little nerd who thinks she's so pretty"" Bridget said imitating the high pitched voice. Still in fits of laughter.

"Do you even know that that's the schools most popular girl, aka bitch, Courtney Hope?"

"I don't care who she is! She's a bitch obviously" I don't normally swear but when I do it's only around my friends. I started laughing at Bridget cause when someone else laughs it always make me laugh too.

We let out a final laugh together looking at each other at my sarcasm (or cockiness even) and continued on.

Bridget dropped me home and then drove to her house which was a 7 minute drive. Ahhh I had so much fun with Bridget, even with 'Courtney', oh and not forgetting my new friend Ryan. What a nice gentleman.

Bwahahaha.
