Chapter 11• Not Just A Crazy Night...

2:01 am

Why are my eyes so heavy? I can't even tell if they are closed or if it's just dark. But then I saw a what seemed to be distant light, and I knew my eyes were slightly open. I blinked a few more times to clear my vision and I started tuning in to what was happening around me.

I heard a high pitched scream and that snapped me awake, but I still struggled to see clearly. My head was pounding and I could barely lift it. I was sitting in an upright position, like a soft recliner chair.

My vision started to clear slightly and that's when I realised I was in the front seat of a car. It looked well taken care of and new, and familiar. I looked towards the light, which caused me to slant my head slightly, to find the light coming from a street lamp outside.

I saw 2 men, one being held slightly off the ground by his shirt, and the other one holding the other, who was by the way shirtless, looking up to his risen, bruised and cut face. The one that was holding the other had angry sweat beads dripping from his forehead.

He stared heatedly with so much anger at the others face, who seemed so innocent.

Well, that was bad judgement. All of the sudden the one in the air grabbed hold of the shirtless guy's neck and was holding it furiously.

This caused (Just going to call him: Shirtless guy and the other can be named: t-shirt guy) to drop t-shirt guy (who is crazy for wearing a t-shirt in this weather) and he let go of shirtless guys throat.

Immediately they started a punch on, in which the t-shirt guy was.... Losing terribly. He almost looked drunk and was worn out quickly.

All of the sudden, I felt shaking on my shoulder. It got rougher and rougher as I didn't pay attention to it and was watching the fight (not really a fight as there was no competition) religiously.

"Damn it! What's your name! Urgh was it Anna?" The girl that is still roughly shaking me was asking, from the drivers seat where she was sitting on her knees facing me.

"Eh. Eh. L...." I stuttered and rolled my tongued. I felt tired again, and she was starting to annoy me. I didn't bother trying anymore to get my name out. My eyes were still fixed on the fight, although I purposely squinted when one of them got hit, I don't like real-life violence.

"Ellie! Ok, now, calm down, he will be fine. You will also be fine. You should get more rest. I'll be right here" She said quietly and assuringly, not being the slightest-bit fazed about anything outside of the car.

Who is he?

I gave a 'hmmm' in response and started dozing off again as the fight was coming to an end. The t-shirt guy was being dragged away by his friends while the shirtless guy walked away and grabbed a bag, and then started heading towards the car. I felt a blanket being thrown over me, and shivered as it was cold from not being used. I dozed off quietly.

I was in a light sleep for what felt like a short amount of time, before I heard the car door open and a fair amount of shuffling. I didn't bother using the energy to open my eyes.

I heard the back seat car door open and shuffling, and then I heard a seatbelt buckle.

I felt my own seatbelt being pulled across me by someone else. With my eyes still closed, I turned and faced my right, getting as far away from the car window as I can, as it seemed to be ice cold. Panic rushed over me as the car started to move.

I looked towards the drivers side and saw bloody hands wrapped around the steering wheel tightly. I slowly followed my eyes up the muscly arms, as my eyes were tired. And I finally reached the head of a very, very attractive and furious face.
