21st century. At this age, when a certain person reads their soulmate's name, the letters of it glow. The origin, the reason, and the effects were unknown to human kind. Studies were conducted, yet no answers. Due to this, people decided to just go along with it.
They form bonds and others break it. Others willingly accept it, others neglect. But then again, no matter how hard you try to escape from the said bond, it is fate that you are going against.
It's not talked about that much, especially with the rise of technology these modern days. Why? Because the world prefers to talk more about politics, business, and different ways to gather money and keep themselves rich. Who would give a damn about soulmates? About orphicly glowing letters? About love?
"The world is sickening." The man on the couch shook his head as he watched the news.
"The Kim family has been confirmed dead after they are murdered and burnt along with their mansion. According to the--"
"Y/N. Climb up to your room and go to sleep. It's getting pretty late." The woman advised to her 14-year-old daughter who complied quickly. She gathered her things and swiftly climb up the stairs.
She was so in rush that she didn't catch the sight of the name of one specific person from the news. The name which glows only for her eyes.
