Staying home the next day is probably the best decision I've made in a while.

Taehyung and I successfully talked me into staying in. He doesn't want me to go to uni right away because he knows I'm not that well yet. The way he's so concerned with what happened to me gives me warmth. I feel protected, cared for, treasured. Things I haven't experienced since I left my parents' house.

We were currently watching a movie and sipping some hot tea when my favorite part came in. It is when the guy is proposing to the girl. I've almost memorized the lines of the film because I've watched it so many times already and yet, I can't help but replay it.

"Y/N? Are you crying?" Taehyung asked. I sniffled and wiped my tears away with the sleeve of my sweater.

"Sorry. I just get so emotional during proposals." I grinned at him. He turned towards me, now completely neglecting the film.

"You're up for those long ass sweet confessions?"

"You're not?" I asked with a quirked brow.

"No, I'll probably just text the girl 'can you pick up a white dress for me and meet me at the church? We're getting married at 10.'" He said with a smug look at his face. I looked at him with disbelief etched on my face.

"That's why you're single." I pointed out. He chuckled lightly at me but didn't say otherwise.

"And also because I'm a ghost."

"Right." I smiled. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders as I nestle on his side. He always makes me so comfortable. No matter how bad the situation is.

"I like how warm you are. You're so alive." He muttered. I sighed and rested closer to him.

"Is that a compliment?" I looked up at him and he nodded.

"Absolutely, kitten." He focused his eyes on the telly as I continue to study his face. He looks so handsome and for the first time since I met him, he doesn't look scared. Or lost. His eyes, despite its lack of color, glimmer with happiness. "Take a picture. It'll last longer."

I huffed at his comment and gently pushed him away. "I would if I could." I muttered. We've tried that already, taking pictures of him. But he doesn't appear on any of those photos unlike some ghosts do.

Suddenly, a knock erupted from my door. Taehyung looked up at me with a questioning face but I'm as clueless as he is.

"Are you expecting someone today?" He whispers.

"No. I didn't order something either." I stood up and shook the blanket away from my shoulders. "How about you stay there and I'll see who it is?"

He looks worried and slightly baffled but still nodded. When he's settled on the couch I turned to open the door.

"Surprise!" A beaming sunshine came into view with his arms open wide.
