"Alright, everything's on me now." I announced, grinning at Taehyung who was seated beside me in the cab. It's a good thing the driver's too busy headbanging to Twice at the moment.
"Babe, it's not like you'll need to pay for me." Taehyung mused.
"Pfft. Go on. Ruin my fun." He just chuckled. We sat there, fumbling with each other's fingers before the cab came to a halt in front of the huge aquarium park. A smile etched on both our faces as I ran towards the main gate. "This is going to be so fun!"
"Let's go see the fishes!" He urged. He placed his arm around my waist and guided me. My eyes glowed upon the sight of swimming creatures. The atmosphere is so relaxing I almost forgot about last night at the forest.
'Come on, Y/N. No time for sulking now.'
Instead, I focused solely on Taehyung. I've been to dates, others were remarkable, some are cringe worthy. But aside from the fact that I am currently in a date with a dead being, the whole feeling that keeps on bubbling inside me feels surreal. I've never felt this light, this free. This happy.
"They all look so cute, oh my God." I placed my hand flat on the glass that separates me from the amusing creatures. "The last time I took care of a fish, she ended up inside Yeontan's mouth. Rest in Peace baby Craig." I sighed. Taehyung just snickered beside me, finding it hilarious.
We strolled more until we ended up at the part of the aquarium where the last group of people just left leaving Taehyung and I in the middle of a concave aquarium. He broke away from me, finding the atmosphere more comfortable without other people. He began running in a tiny way making me grin at his cuteness.
Stop making me love you more, idiot.
"Why are you just standing there? Hurry up, kitten! They are all waiting." He called out before spinning to look back at me. Then he let out the most adorable smile a man can possess, making my heart wilder than the creatures inside the aquarium.
He's beautiful. His eyes maybe blank and terrifying, but those eyes were the eyes that saw me for who I am. Those are the eyes that held my sanity, my comfort, and my home. Those are the eyes that held my universe and no one will ever know how grateful I am that I get to gaze at them whenever I want to.
He's ethereal. Those lips touched mines countless of times. It never fails to keep me on the edge and to have me wanting more. But those lips doesn't just touch my own. Those lips touched my soul. Knowing every single thing to tell me when I'm happy, sad, or whenever I just want to talk. They are my serenity.
He's perfection. Broken, yet capable of filling every single hole in my heart. Hurt, but able of giving me the warmth and the security that my broken being longs for. Vanishing, but definitely leaving his mark in my heart forever.
I was too lost in his features that I didn't notice him coming closer. He caught me off guard when he set his hands on both of my cheeks and placed his lips on top of mines in a sealed kiss. His mouth moved against mine and instantly, everything vanished. I didn't care about the fish, the people who might see us- or me. It was just me and him. Taehyung and I inside our little bubble of love and affection.
"What was that for?" I asked him when he broke off. He gave me an eskimo kiss, making me grin like an idiot.
"Nothing." He shook his head and placed his cold and lifeless lips on my forehead. "I love you."
"I love you, Tae."
----
"What's funny?" I asked Taehyung as I was washing my hands at the restroom. The kind staff of this park let me touch the fish and I was beyond ecstatic to do that while Taehyung watches me.
"You." I frowned at him.
"Why?"
"In that pool, you are the only adult in line to touch the fish and you're even more excited that the kids." He chuckled thickly.
"Don't laugh at me!" I feel my lips forming a pout as I crossed my arms.
"Why? I think you're cute." He pinched my cheeks and made my pout disappear when he pecked my lips. "Let's go."
"Can we please please please ride the ferris wheel? Please, Tae?" I whispered and subtly looked at him. He grinned widely and led me to the booth. When we entered the cart, I immediately leaned against him, wanting to be as close as possible.
I never really saw myself to be this kind of girlfriend. The one who's always clingy, almost dependent, and sometimes needy. I always thought I am enough for myself. But with Taehyung, he makes me realize the things I never knew I wanted. Be showed me a Y/N that I never knew existed.
"Tae, if I'd get a tattoo, would you let me?" I asked as the cart began moving. The random thought crossing my mind.
"Do you want to?"
"I do, actually. Doesn't it go with the artistic vibe? I want people to know that I'm artistic." I joked. He chuckled at me and stared as we slowly begin to reach the top of the ride.
"If you want to then do it. It's your body, baby. Just make sure that you get something really significant." He muttered. "And something you won't regret."
"Have you done something like that when you're still alive?"
"A tattoo? Nope. But I got both of my ears pierced." Taehyung and I kept on talking about nothing in particular until the end of the ride.
At the end of the day, when he's humming a soft tune and I'm running my fingers across his strands, I couldn't help but smile. He may be dead. I may be alive. But nothing could stop us from being this madly inlove with each other. The feeling makes me want to paint the events of the whole day if I could.
So that one day, when he leaves me, I have a reminder that I once fell in love with someone as lovely as Kim Taehyung.
