I never believed in ghosts.

All my life, I see those ghost stories as something that people just make up because they're bored and want others to think they're psychic or some shit.

But it's hard not to believe when you have one revealing itself right in front of you.

"I said, who are you?" The raspy voice again said. The figure slowly stepped out of the shadows and into the dimly lit place. I gulped as my eyes grew wide and I stumble back down. I am seeing him. I can see him.

The ghost is a boy. Maybe near my age. His face and his whole body is ashen. Almost translucent but still visible. His dark hair is a mess atop of his head, and his eyes. I stood up abruptly when I saw his eyes. All that's in there were his pupils and the rest is white. He has dried blood from the side of his face that dripped until his arms.

Was he scary?

Yes, he is. But he looks so pure, innocent, and hurt. I'm sure he is the one I heard. His face held a deep frown, his mouth still curved slightly downwards.

He looks... beautiful.

"Oh my.." I didn't know what to think or how to act. All I know is just I can't take my eyes off of him. I kept examining his face and body over and over again which gives me chills but I still didn't ran away. He stared back at me as well and his pupils contract. He slowly tilted his head to one side and walked towards me. Still, I can't move my legs and I felt myself weakening with every stride he takes.

What is he going to do? Is he going to change into something scary? Will he kill me? Am I not going to see my friends again? If--

"Are you in shock?" He asked worriedly.

What?

"Please. Please don't shout. Just.. Erm.. Breathe. Yeah, breathe." He tried to calm me down and raised his arms infront of him, looking unsure of what he's doing. I looked at him with a mortified expression.

"Breathe..? An unknown creature is in front of me and you are telling me to breathe? I feel like my a cabbage is shoved down in my esophagus." I suddenly blurted out as I panted. I wanted to run but I can't move. I feel so shocked.

"I-I'm sorry, okay? It's not my fault that I'm naturally scary." And with that, he's gone. I felt a little bit guilty with his offended tone but can you blame me? A freaking ghost just conversed with me! I fell down on my butt and tried to make the scene that just happened sink in. I can't believe it. Is it true? Is he real? God, I don't know what to do now.

I tried searching for him inside again since the door is locked and I can't come in but I couldn't see him anywhere. Yet, I still know he's somewhere in here. I might not see him but I can feel him.

"H-Hello? Uhm.. Mister? Are you still there?" I muttered and moved closer to the mausoleum again. "Honestly, don't answer that. I don't think I'll be able to keep my sanity if I see you again."

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for disturbing your place here. I didn't mean it. I just.. I am just curious. I am so so sorry. Please, please don't follow me home." I bit my lip and try to look around to see him but I didn't. I don't even know if I should be happy not to see him. "So yeah.. Bye!" And with that, I ran off.

For some unknown reason, I immediately found Jimin and Emerie outside the cemetery. As if the way out was just a straight path when I know that it's not. But I'm not surprised anymore, I just talked to a very concerned and friendly ghost a while back.

"Thank God! We're about to go back to search for you! What took you so long?"  Emerie said upon seeing me but I didn't say anything.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Jimin asked as he approached me. Seeing another living person made me relax somehow.

"Y-Yeah." I pant.

"You look like you've seen a ghost." Emerie commented. I gulped and looked at her with anxiousness. "Wait, have you?!" She rushed towards me and clasped my face in her hands.

"Have you!?"

"I.. I don't really want to talk about it." I shivered and thankfully, they've dismissed it and started to make their way towards the car. Before I climb up the backseat, I took one more look back and I saw him, again.

He's leaning against a wall and just staring at me. He suddenly vanished from my sight.

This will be a long night for me.

3RD PERSON'S POV

An angel.

That is what he sees in her.

He was shocked to see a living being near him and he doesn't know how to react. Still, he blames himself for scaring the beautiful girl.

"Y/N." He whispers through the night. Her name is a spell that fell from his lips.

He wanted to know her. Though there is a slim chance that they would meet again because she looks so shaken up at the sight of him. But he never let it discourge him. There's that something about her that just pulls him but he doesn't know what. He tried to think of something noticably special about her to reason. But he couldn't find any.

"Of course, you just met her and talked to her for a minute or two, Taehyung." He scolded himself but the smile kept plastered on his face at the thought of the unexpected visitor.

He could perfectly remember her face. Hers is a face that is simple. She isn't adorned of makeup like any other girls in her generation today. Her curious eyes which darted around is hard to miss. So is her lips which would no wonder be as soft as clouds. The way her shaky hands held on the barrier that kept their distance makes him want to hold it till she calms down and get rid of the fear.

He felt foreign. He feels so giddy and happy when he is usually not. Especially not on their death annivesary. But the girl on his mind changed it.

"Y/N."
