3RD PERSON'S POV

He's outside.

He finally decided to step out of the cemetery. Of his horrendous past. Of its haunting memories.

The ghost boy lurked around Y/N's flat once they've entered. It was quite small yet cozy. It was all in pastel colors and different paintings hang on the wall.

"These must cost a fortune." He uttered to himself. The moment he stepped in, he already felt at home. Maybe what he did is really just right.

"Welcome to my humble abode." She whispers when the stepped inside. "Tan? Baby? I'm home." Y/N suddenly called out making Taehyung freeze.

Baby? She's got a boyfriend? All this time? Why--

He was cut off with a bark and Y/N's soft giggles. She bent down to pick up a dog who looks like a huge ball of fur that's been trying to climb itself to her.

"Taehyung, meet my baby, Yeontan." Y/N introduced.

"Oh." Taehyung mumbles inside his head. Relief flooded through his veins for some unknown reason.

"Yeontan, this is Taehyung. Be good to him, okay? He's a guest." She faced the dog towards him and Taehyung tilted his head at the sight of the little creature. Yeontan copied his actions and barked again making Y/N giggle.

"Take a seat, Tae. Would you want anything?" She politely asks as he sat down on the soft couch. The couch felt so comfy on his bottom after three years of having to sit on a marble tile.

"I don't even know if I can have anything. I'm good though. Don't bother yourself, please." The girl smiled warmly at him. How can he still be so kind after what she just put him through is beyond her.

"I'll just go change for a sec then we'll talk, okay?" He nodded as she set down the dog on her floor. "Tannie, don't give Taehyung a hard time, okay? No barking and biting." The dog immediately climbed up Taehyung's lap and Y/N disappered in the hall.

He can't help but smile at the thought that he's somewhere outside the mausoleum he's been trapped in for three years. To think that it's Y/N's home made it 10 times better. The little creature who seems to see him as a normal living person nudges his little head on his stomach making him smile.

"Hello little one." He looked down to pet him then, he lost count of how long he's been fondling the dog before Y/N arrived. Taehyung's mouth gaped at the sight of her in just her pajamas and a tank top. She looks so relaxed and he thought, he might get used to this.

"I see you've went along very well." She said taking her seat beside Taehyung. Close, but not close enough. At least, not for him.

"He's nice." He mumbles. They both remained silent, both pairs of eyes trained on the dog as the tension began to rise. Yeontan, as if sensing it, jumped off towards the kitchen leaving the both of them alone.

"It's now or never." Mumbled Y/N in her mind.

"I'm sorry." They both said at the same time, making the both of them crack a smile.

"What are you sorry for, Tae?" She asked, facing him. He placed his hand on his nape and awkwardly scratched it. He knows he's about to be vulnerable around Y/N again.

"I.. I made you upset, shouted at you. I even made you cry when all you ever want to do is to help me." He paused and looked at the girl infront of him. "I should have considered your suggestion. The truth is, I'm just scared. I'm a coward and--"

"Taehyung, no. You're not a coward." She interrupted him. She heaved a breath and moved closer to him. "I was wrong. I shouldn't have forced you to do that. I should have known that it would be so hard for you. I literally asked you to move on from something severely serious and I'm pretty sure you were so scared earlier. I dragged you out here, Taehyung. In a world where you.. You died. In a world you decided to turn away from. I'm severely sorry, Taehyung. Please forgive me."
