"You're alive to me, Taehyung." He let out a humorless chuckle and looked at me.
"Too bad they've killed me years ago."

"I'll see you later, okay?" I said to Taehyung as I bend down to fix my shoes.
"Take care, babe." He said, waving me off. I shut the door, leaving him in our room to meet with Hobi downstairs. Hobi and I had seperate hotel rooms for our stay and to say that it was beautiful was an undestatement. It must have cost a good fortune to afford a room with a majestic view of Daegu. I'm sure Taehyung won't get tired of the view at the room.
"I assume you are Mr. Jung and Ms. Y/L/N?" A very soothing voice reaches my ear as we wait for the doctor here at the lobby to talk about a few things about the paintings.
"Oh yes. Yes we are." Hobi stated. I greeted the man with a soft smile. His demeanor screams professionalism yet his face is soft and friendly. He looks young, crisp button down shirt framing his broad shoulders, and rounded specs rests on his nose.
"I'm Dr. Kim Seokjin. It's a pleasure to meet you." He extended his hands for us to shake.

"Please, just call us Y/N and Hoseok." I said, shaking his hands.
"As you wish. I became a huge fan of your work when I saw it. Such a good talent you have." He praised leading us to his opened car. We already discussed about visiting his hospital and home to see what paintings would be fitting.
Dr. Kim is no joke, let me tell you that. He has clinics and hospitals all around the country which proves how good he is at this field. He doesn't look like your typical doctor so maybe that contributes to the number of his patients.
"If you don't mind me asking, why would you want to add paintings to your hospital? It's usually just plain walls and windows." I asked as I take glances at the rooms of the hospital.
"Well, I want to make it as homey as possible. A lot of patients view hospitals like a prison cell and I want to change that. I want them to feel safe and at home." He reasoned.
"Oohh.. Someone's not in for stereotypes." Hoseok commented.
"Stereotypes are boring as hell." The doctor added. We proceeded to his mansion where he roam us around, specifying areas where he wants us to work on.
"Man, your house is huge!" Hoseok exclaimed as he ran the hallway. Seokjin only laughed at him.
"Sorry. He's such a kid at times."
"No worries. He looks pretty cool." We stalked towards the house until Seokjin's phone rang. "Oh excuse me. I have to take this. Go around if you want to, I'll just follow later." He said picking up his phone.
"Do you think we should roam around?" I asked Hobi.
"Hell yeah. See you later, Y/N!" He shouted before running up the stairs.
"Wait, Hoseok!" I ran after him but boy, he's bloody fast. I lost him immediately which leaves me standing alone in the middle of this glamorous place.
I was greeted with an empty hallway with various rooms but my eyes were caught by a certain room in the center. A little light came from the closed door as I moved towards it. It has nothing special on it, just a simple plain door but it still caught my attention. My curiosity got me walking nearer. Weird. The door has the letter V engraved on it making me wonder what it meant. I reach out to touch the handle of the door, not minding anymore if I should be here. I was about to touch the doorknob but my phone suddenly rang, making me jump a bit. I felt my senses ran back to me and realized how wrong the thing I am about to do is. I shouldn't be in here.
"Hello?" I asked picking up my phone and running my hand in my hair.
"Kitten, it's me." I smiled immediately upon hearing his lovely voice.
"Taehyung? Is there something wrong back there?"
"There is." He muttered. My eyebrows frowned in worry.
"What? What happened?" I heard him sigh on the other line. "Tae, what's wrong?"
"I'm so sorry for calling. I'm just.. I just really missed you." He reasoned making me bite my lip. I can't believe that a ghost gives me these teenage feels.
"Aren't you just sweet?" I chuckled, feeling my cheeks flush even more.
"Is there any way that you could head home early?"
"We're almost done here, baby. I'll be there soon."
"Alright. I'll be waiting for you, okay?" He asked making me laugh.
"It's not like you have any other choice." I smiled. "I really really like you, Taehyung."
"I really like you too, kitten. So much. So you better get your cute ass in here before I head out and search for you." He scowled making me chuckle.
"Yes, sir." I dropped the phone and was about to head out when I saw the door again. I just shook my head and walked away, ignoring the feeling in my gut.
"Oh, there you are. Seokjin and I have been looking for you everywhere." I met Seokjin and Hobi halfway across the stairs. "We thought you got lost."
"I almost got lost, actually. This place is huge." I joked. We began heading downstairs and I took one last look upon the door. "Uh, Seokjin?" I called. I couldn't help it. I feel like something in there is calling me.
"Yes, Y/N?"
"I happen to stumble upon a room at the end of the hallway up there." I said and his smile dropped. His face changed into more like a nervous one. "What's in there?"
"D-Did you get in?" He stutters but I quickly shook my head. His face regained its color and his whole body relaxes. "It was.. It was nothing. Just a storage room."
"Oh, alright." I simply nodded despite being suspicious. He looks like he's hiding something but I am not in the position to judge, especially if I haven't known him for too long. I just won't be wandering around that area. I don't want to interfere with whatever business Seokjin has.
A/N: IM SORRY THIS TOOK TOO LONG OMG. I just got really held up with everything in my life rn. Anyways,
