"Now, let's delve into an essential aspect of cabin crew training, which is security. Ensuring the safety of passengers and the aircraft is paramount. We'll be simulating scenarios involving unruly passengers and potential threats."

Miss Bethany proceeds to explain various security protocols and procedures to us.

"In the event of an unruly passenger, your primary goal is to de-escalate the situation and ensure the safety of everyone on board. You have the authority to restrain the individual using approved methods if necessary."

She demonstrated how to use restraints and communicate with an unruly passenger while remaining calm and composed. In the next part of the simulation, we practiced identifying potential security threats, such as suspicious behavior or unattended items.

The simulation ended with us having a better understanding of how to handle security-related scenarios.

"Dinner tayo, sasama ka ba?" baling sa akin ni Lei. 

"I already have plans with Sean, I'm sorry. I'll join na talaga next time."

"Baka magtampo na sila Brix. Lagi kang wala," natatawang sabi niya.

"Monthsary namin," nahihiyang sabi ko.

We planned our celebration last night. Kung hindi lang nadulas si Sean tungkol sa plano niya para sa monthsary namin ay hindi ko pa maaalala.

"Happy monthsary!" biglang sabi niya. "Ako na ang bahalang magsasabi sa kanila," she giggled.

Nagpaalam na ako na mauuna na dahil kanina pa naghihintay sa akin si Sean sa labas.

Like the usual, I don't know much about his plans. I just found ourselves at a beautifully decorated table in a cozy corner of a romantic restaurant.

"You prepared too much, huh," I teased him. 

Instead of answering, he gave me a proud look, making me laugh a little. 

"You rented the whole place?" 

He nodded. "Yup."

I glared at him. "You really like spending too much."

"This is a special dinner. I want to celebrate this night with you alone," he explained. "I'm already earning my own money, you know," he said, which made me roll my eyes. "I just passed the board exam, remember?"

Natawa ako at pabiro na lamang siyang inirapan. He passed his board exam just last month pero hindi kami nakapag-celebrate dahil pareho kaming busy.  

"Good evening, Ma'am and Sir. Welcome to La Belle Cuisine. May I take your order?" 

"We'll start with the chef's special appetizer," Sean answered him.

Habang kumakain ay inabala namin ang sarili namin sa pag-uusap. Sean was making an effort so I should also make an effort, too. I also want to make this night memorable for us, especially since we rarely do this.

"I have something for you," he suddenly told me.

My eyes widened as he pulled out a small jewelry box. He slowly opened the box, revealing a bracelet. 

Inabot niya ang kamay ko kaya naman napangiti ako bago bahagyang lumapit para mailagay niya iyon sa akin.

"Happy monthsary, love," malambing na sabi niya.

"Happy monthsary. Thank you for your effort tonight," nakangiting sabi ko. "I really appreciate it a lot."

Humarap siya sa akin bago ako hinila palapit sa kanya upang halikan. "You are worth every effort and gesture of love."
