"You're drunk. Baka hinahanap ka na sa inyo," mahinang sabi ko.

"I may look drunk but I know what I'm saying." 

Pumungay ang mga mata niya pagkatapos niyang mag-angat ng tingin sa akin.

"What really happened to us three years ago, Av?"

"Sean..." I gulped. "Let's talk when you're sober, okay?"

"Can't we talk now?" he asked. "I'm still waiting... and hoping for us. Kahit hindi na tulad ng dati. I just... want you to clear things to me. Kasi hanggang ngayon..."

Tumigil siya sa pagsasalita bago pumikit ng mariin. As soon as he opened his eyes again, sunod-sunod na tumulo ang mga luha niya.

"...hanggang ngayon ang sakit pa rin."

I don't know how to talk to him. He was now sitting on the floor with his head down and sobbing quietly

"Stand up, please. Don't stay here, you'll get sick," I told him. I tried to help him stand but he refused. "Let's talk inside, okay? It's cold," I whispered.

I supported him until we reached the living room of the apartment. I took his keys and went outside to park his car properly. When I got back inside, I saw him sleeping on the sofa.

"Can you stand up first? You can go to my bedroom and use my bed so you can sleep comfortably," I said softly.

No response. Sinubukan ko siyang gisingin pero wala talaga kaya naman buong lakas ko siyang tinayo at hirap na hirap na dinala sa kwarto ko.

I took a wet towel to wipe his face. I also removed his jacket before I fixed the blanket on him. I took the small chair before sitting on the side of the bed.

"I'm sorry," I whispered while fixing some of his hair that had fallen on his face. "Akala ko kaya ko nang makipag-usap sa'yo, hindi pa pala. Akala ko kaya ko nang harapin at sagutin ang mga tanong mo, pero katulad noon, masyado pa rin akong takot."

I took my chance to tell him everything that I couldn't tell him once he's awake. 

I went out before quietly going to the other vacant room to sleep. The next day, I woke up early to prepare hangover soup for him.

Sinabihan ko rin si Brix na nandito si Sean para makisuyo kay Kuya Mikko na kung pwede ay kunin nila siya. At kung pwede rin na... huwag na muna niyang ipaalam kila Lei ang tungkol dito.

Brix:
Pupunta raw sila Kuya diyan. On the way na ata

Pagkabasa ko ng text message ni Brix ay eksaktong narinig ko ang tunog ng doorbell.

"Long time no see!" bungad ni Kuya Mikko sa akin. Sumilip mula sa likuran niya sila Kuya Kai at Kuya Axel.

"Hello! Gagi, long time no see nga. It's been a while!" sabi nila Kuya Kai. Kuya Axel just smiled at me.

"Good morning po. Pasok po kayo," anyaya ko. 

Pinaupo ko sila sa couch bago binalikan iyong niluluto kong soup.

"Nasaan na siya?" rinig kong tanong ni Kuya Axel.

"Tulog pa po," sagot ko.

"Tulog, amp! Sino 'yong nag-text sa aming nagpapasundo dahil wala na raw mukhang ihaharap kung ganon?!" malakas na sigaw ni Kuya Mikko na parang gusto niyang marinig iyon ni Sean.

"Uh, sinilip ko po kanina. Tulog pa naman po siya."

"Gising na 'yon," tumatawang sabi ni Kuya Kai. "Nag-text nga sa amin kanina, sumama raw kami sa pagsundo. He said he didn't know how to get out of the room."
