Epilogue

"Nasaan ka na? Napakatagal mo naman. Galing ka bang ibang bansa? Mag-iisang oras na 'yang on the way mo!" sunod-sunod na talak ni Mikko pagkatapos kong sagutin ang tawag niya.

"Traffic nga. Do you want me to fucking fly just to be there?" I asked while my eyes are still on the road.

He asked me to come to their house to help him in practicing new songs. I cannot say no because he was being persistent.

"Call me when you're almost here."

Pinatay na niya ang tawag kaya muling tumahimik sa loob ng kotse ko.

When I arrived at their house, I quickly took out my phone to call him. I can just enter their house but when I went to the front door, I couldn't help but peek through their glass window and saw that Brix was there with his friends.

I stopped dialing Mikko's number and unconsciously looked at the girl with the blue hair clip. She was busy telling something while her friends were in full ears. I can't help but to smile while looking at her. She really looks hands on.

"Psst! Hoy!"

I looked away when the door opened and saw Mikko.

"Tangina, ang tagal mo. Halika na, nandiyan crush mo."

Mabilis ko siyang inabot para batukan. "Ulol."

"Alam kong nandiyan si Avril sa loob pero pwede bang huwag mo muna siyang tingnan? Magkunwari kang may pinag-uusapan tayong seryoso."

My brows immediately furrowed. "The fuck is wrong with you today?"

"Nakagawa ako ng katangahan, bilis na! Makikisama ka ba o sasabihin ko na crush mo siya?"

I have no choice but to do what he asked me. We look like idiots with poker faces while walking around  while talking about nothing. 

I can feel her stare, that's why when we got to the top, I tried to steal a glance of her. 

I thought that our last interaction would be at that party but I was really shocked when I saw her in front of the University. It's as if God has been spoiling me with my wishes.

I stopped walking before watching her for a while as she guided the men who were attaching the tarpaulins.

"Ano? Tatambay nalang tayo rito sa init? Sunbathing gano'n?" tanong ni Mikko sa akin nang pati siya ay mapatigil sa paglalakad dahil nasa harapan ako.

"Sino ba kasi ang tinitingnan? Naknampucha naman, sa lilim mo na titigan. Napaka-init Sean Alexis!" Kai complained.

"May payong kayo?" baling ko sa kanila lalo na nang makita ko kung paanong namumula na ang mga balat niya. She's white so it was obvious.

I casually took Mikko's umbrella before walking quickly to where she is. I saw how her eyes widened when she saw me holding an umbrella for her.

Ang cute, tangina.

"Pag-ibig nga naman," Axel was shaking his head while whistling.

"Anong meron?" usisa kaagad ng kapatid ko.

"Taga-hawak lang naman ng payong 'yang kapatid mo kanina. Biruin mo 'yon, Kuya? Nagdadala lang ng payong 'yan para ipahawak sa amin kasi nag-iinarte lagi sa init tapos kanina ni hindi man lang umalis sa tabi ni Avril?"

Mas lalong umusbong ang pang-aasar nila sa akin lalo na at nakikita nilang unti-unti na kaming nagiging malapit sa isa't-isa.

She's very obedient That's the first trait I got to know after having some interactions with her. I know how much effort she put for this freshmen week to become successful at kitang-kita ko kung paano siyang nanghihinayang dahil gusto na siyang pauwiin ng magulang niya.
