It's the little things that matter.
From smiling with rosy, red cheeks.
Glaring at me while intersecting your fingers.
Stumbling upon your words when leaning in and talking to me.
You're a jigsaw puzzle.
Every piece comes together to make one.
A magnum opus; something unique.
Each part tells a story.
When and where your first kiss was.
The reasoning why a dog doesn't exist in your house.
What your most embarrassing moment is.
All of these are selections that develop who you are.
Throughout this journey,
the puzzle is going to change,
Some pieces will disappear.
Others will be replaced.
What people don't realize are these three things:
The middle part will never be modified,
your puzzle never ends and,
it's the little things that matter.
