It's a special time of the year,
Where everyone has good cheer,
Decorating with trees and lights,
Singing a song about reindeer,
Celebrating the birth of Christ,
For his life he sacrificed,
Most people don't believe in him,
But I'm proud to be a theist,
Snow coming down,
In this lonesome town,
You being on my mind,
I wish you were around,
Under the mistletoe we would stand,
Holding each other's hands,
Kissing for a while,
Like I would when I receive a wedding band,
I worry and care about you,
But you probably already knew,
You're my best friend,
And I hope I'm yours too,
You give me so much joy,
Our feelings can't be destroyed,
You're my Christmas gift,
Especially since you're now my "boy."
