If It Wasn't For You

It doesn't matter how much you cared.

From all of the times you would sit and stare.

You never physically touched me.

Instead, you would get up and leave.

All of the times we have spent together.

There's not a moment I regret.

The late night texts and video chats.

While you were either drunk or bored just to hear from me.

At a point in time,

I was the only thing on your mind.

What happened to your thoughts?

It's like you've been brain washed.

I miss you.

It's sad that you'll never know.

You were great throughout the years,

but you caused me a tremendous amount of pain and tears.

You're all I want.

You're all I need.

Why couldn't you stay here,

right next to me?

There's no reason to have a "Grip."

My "Wish" will never come true.

I thought you were "The One,"

but all you are is one big "Puzzle."

Even though you made my life a mess,

and broke my heart into a million pieces.

I wouldn't be the person I am,

if it wasn't for you.
