Now I know what you're thinking,
and it's not what you assume.
There was one day I remember,
when we were in the attic.
I've never seen that side of you before.
You were a completely different person.
Gentle and calm,
while showing me your playlist.
I was across from you.
At first, I wouldn't look up.
Once I did, all I seen was blue.
You sat on the couch staring at me.
I thought something would've happened that day,
but I'm glad nothing did.
It was perfect in my eyes.
Especially since you told me "goodbye."
