The Warriors Way

Simon glared at the rusted old knocker of the Dumort. He grimaced and quietly opened the door, he had no doubt in his mind that he would be attacked. He embraced the idea and let out a long sigh as the door fully opened...nothing happened.

Simon quickly glanced at Isabelle, she looked just as confused as he did. They took a full stride into the broken down structure, still no vampire was in sight. "Isabelle, what's going on" he murmured under his breath.

Dreading that if he took a full breath he would be doomed. "I-I don't know" she stuttered, still looking around. Simon was getting hopeless, he took a few more long steps into the hotel. He glanced around and saw nothing but dusty old chairs.

He was about to turn around and leave until he heard a light, childish chuckle emanating from the top of the foyer. He stop dead in his tracks, he heard it again "Hiiiii Simon" a high pitched voice playfully admired. Simon turned around with a grimace. As he expected.....it was Maureen.

After all the baby excitement died down things started to get serious. Clary glanced at Joz.

"Have you heard anything back yet" she asked, half hoping, half worried. He shook his head "No, I hope they reply soon. If Sebastian said he'd be back, he'd come as soon as possible, and who knows how little time we have" he quietly inquired.

Clary shook her head "We have to hear back from the Floras's soon." She said under her breath. The stress was nearly getting to her. "Dont worry Clary, its only been an hour" Lacey comforted, saying the first thing within an hour.

"Sebastian can't come back, the Floras's have the power to undo life spells. If we can get them here then Sebastian won't be able to come back" Clary contradicted.

She got up and left the room. Then every one stared at Jace "What" he asks, getting unnerved by all the staring eyes. "Go comfort her" Sawyer urges, waving his head towards Magnus's long hallway. Jace rolls his eyes and follows Clary.

Simon took a deep breath "Hey Maureen" he says, hearing his own fear within his voice. He heard Maureen give a childish laugh "I see you brought a Shadowhunter" she laughed "Cant wait to tear her but from bit" she muses.

Obviously trying to hard to give off the satanic vibe. "Come down Maureen" Simon commanded, trying not to sound mean. "Only if she leaves" Maureen called from the shadows.

Isabelle looked at Simon "Shout if she advances to close" she whispered.

Simon nodded and watched her leave. "Okay, she's gone now" Simon shouted. He heard the menacing laugh again "Good" she said, dropping down to the floor. Simon took a step back

"Oh don't worry Simon. We can finally love each other... forever" Simon rolled his eyes "Maureen, I just came to talk" he said. Reaching behind his back and grabbing a knife out of his pocket.

Tessa sat with Will on an old wooden bench. "So, are you going to tell me how your alive Will"

Tessa asked, clutching her stomach...as if to see if the baby was still there.

Will stared at her, trying to find the right words "I was never dead" he said blankly "I was saved by Raziel to fill a prophecy, when every one finally turned to his aid I was finally aloud to come back." He looked her straight into her eyes " And all I could think about was finding you".

Tessa shook her head "Will, I love you with all my heart. I really do, but to be with you again means I have to break my vow to Jem. I can't do that"

she looked down at her stomach and smiled "And when she is born I can watch her be raised next to one of the finest warlock and Shadowhunter.

Kaya felt her hands shake from fear, she had to find a way to warn the others. She was searching around the room but she met Valentine's eyes. He grinned maniacally, not as satanic as his son though.

Kaya quickly turned away from his soulless eyes. She turned towards Natasha next, who looked like she was counting down to something. Natasha took out her Stele and drew something on her hand. Natasha looked at Kaya and smiled, Kaya cocked her head sideways. Natasha was nearly to zero, she watched Natasha mouth. Three, Two , One.

And all of a sudden, with a large burst of light the roof came crashing down. Creating a barrier between everyone except Natasha and Kaya. Kaya looked and Natasha frantically "What are you doing" she burst, stepping aside. Natasha smiled and started to make a portal "Dont worry Kaya, I was always on your side"
