I follow Von into the house and the words that escape his lips are honestly music to my ears.

"I've cooked us something to eat.Would you like to eat now?" He asks.

Immediately i respond "Yes!...I mean,yes" I chuckle nervously.

He joins me and ushers me to the table that he has set for us to eat at.

He cooks?Wow.

"You cook?"

"Yeah.I hope you like it."

"There's no poison in this right?"

"I guess you'll just have to eat it to find out."

He then pulls my chair out for me.

"What a gentleman."I say

He smiles and says, "It's not that deep."

We sit at the dinner table and eat our food in silence which I truly appreciate.

The food actually tastes just as great as it looks.

Once my plate is 100 percent cleared and spotless I decide to compliment his delicious meal because I know he's probably waiting to hear me say something about it.

"Wow...the food was absolutely delicious.Thank you so much. You know for a second I thought you were trying to kill me hey." I say while standing to put our plates in the sink causing him to laugh.

"Why would I wanna kill you?"

"I don't know Treyvon.Maybe because I'm too awesome and you can't handle it."

"Awesome?Sorry to burst your bubble but, you're not.Who told you that?"He teases.

"Myself."I respond flipping my hair once.

I can hear him chuckle lightly but I decide not to say anything further.

"You full?If not there's cake in the fridge..."

"What kind?"I immediately ask.

He laughs and says, "Caramel. You want some?"

"Yes please.I love cake so much I'd marry it if I could."

"But wouldn't you eat your husband then?"

"Good point." I laugh.

He then cuts me a slice and hands it to me.

"You're not going to have some?"I ask.

"Sweet things don't really tickle my tongue as much as they use to."

"You ate a lot of sweets as a kid huh?"I laugh.

"Something like that."He says putting the cake back into the fridge.

We then went up to his room.

I don't think I'll ever get over how beautiful this house is.

"This house is ridiculously beautiful.Must have taken years to build."I say admiring it.

"Thanks.Only took two years."

"Really?"

"Yeah."He chuckles.

"And the paintings on the walls?Where did you get them?We have similar ones at my house."

What a strange yet interesting coincidence.

"My parents got them from some art gallery a couple of years back. You're into art?"

I don't really get it.
