chapter 6

  As soon as we got out of the airport a limo was waiting outside to pick us up. It was a two hour long drive .  And to my surprise Leslie's dad was waiting there for us ...which I didn't expected as it's a very important day for him today.

The time leslie reached up to him he started crying and that was the time leslie got to know that he is aware of loss of his love.

"I am so sorry ,father"leslie cried .

"No honey ,I am sorry ,you had to handle all the pressure by yourself.Why you didn't call me ?"he said ,still hugging her.

  I decided to go to the room  and give them some personal time ,just when leslie stopped me and introduced me to her father .

    "She is eva,my best friend. "She said.

    "Oh we are sorry  we dragged you in our family drama."Mr John Jones said.

    "No ,ofcourse not sir ,she is my bestfriend  and I understand how hard it is to loose the one you loved the most ."I said .

    "Sir we have to go ." Mr Jones's  bodyguard whispered in his ears.

    "Alright ...one sec "he said and called   the resorts manager   and asked him to show us our floor ." He said .

  I was shocked to hear....floor . But I decided to shut up .

  Mr Jones left in his car with his team as  the manager showed us our....floor .

  It was amazing .... .

"I am sorry to ask ...but is this a VIP section ? " . I  asked leslie

Leslie laughed and nodded .

"The owner of this resort is my dad's high school bestie."leslie told me .

"Okay ....understood ."I exclaimed.

After some tim has passed  ...there was a knock on the  door.

  "Here are our  dresses for tonight ."leslie told me pointing towards two beutiful dresses ...

 Both were long length gowns ...one was black   and the other was   light pink long gown with small green petals on the flow.

    "When do we have to leave for the .. "I asked leslie .

"Gala ..to be precise." les finished my sentence because for sure i was incapable to do so.

After 3 hours ......

Leslie's  phone flashed and she told me that the make up artist and hair stylists would be here in an  hour.

I was surprised to know that we were provided with professionals to get ready  .

But whatever it is ....I was feeling like a celebrity.

  After an hour there again  was a knock on the  door and we were asked to speed up by mr jones's assistant peggy to speed up.

    "Why are you looking so nervous "leslie asked me.

    "I dont know maybe its because  i go to these parties everyday amd i am boree or if not that then.."

   "Really sarcasm .  " Leslie squeled interrupting me and rushing me towards the lift.

 When we reached our destination there was a tall man , who opened the door for us and helped us moving out with our gowns .

  "Wowwww"i squealed  as soon as we entered the grand  hall .

 We were offered few drinks and we met  many people including Ralph Lauren and  he even gave leslie his personal phone number
,impressed by her great sense in fashion and as they were talking i saw a young boy walking towards us.

   "Someone has a crush on someone."I said teasing leslie.

  "Oh come on you can't be serious he is my grandfathers age."leslie said hitting me on my elbow .

"Ouch ...that hurt. "I laughed .

 "Here he comes " leslie said .

   "Who? " I asked when we were interfered by the same boy .

   "Hi leslie ."  he  said as he  hugged leslie..

   "Who is he "I asked again when this time we got interfered by Mr Jones and that small kid shouted ...hi dad and jumped up on him.

    "Oh my God...leslie you never told me you had a brother." I asked shockingly."

  "Ya... see how self involved you are ."she said .

" Oh come on.. tell me  how old he is ? when he was born ? where he was born" .

    " He is 6 years old ..he was born in newyork when my mom visited my dad 7 years back."she told me  and now it made sense ...as well as I felt really bad that he has lost his mom.

"Ok can we go back now.." asked her .

 "Ya just wait a minute ,I will ask my dad if it's done."leslie said and went away when my phone flashed and it was my mom.

  "Hi " I said .

 "Hi baby .how are you ? .she asked.

"I am fine and kicking ..". .I said

 "Someones in a really good mood " my mom said.

"Ya I am happy " I said.

"Okay so you will be even more happy if I tell you that

1. I returned your daddy' cool gift.

2.my first court date is revealed...its 1 of August.

3. This is the most important one... you have to join law school from 10^th of next month."she said and I jumped .

  And leslie joined me back asking what happened .

"Wait a second ...."I told leslie and ended conversation with mom promising her to talk later .

 I told leslie all of it and we went back to our giant rooms  and slept.
