chapter 32

" Hey , you up " I called jason as I expected that maybe after last night he is still sleeping and I didn't wanted us to miss any class that what we already have .

"Yeah , what are you doing ? "

" nothing , just getting ready for classes . "

"Yeah , okay , me too . Meet you there . Bye!!

I got all dressed and decided to call mom in my way up to college .

Ms lily was extraordinarily nice to me today and even told me about her bringing up my name as an intern for an upcoming case . I am  really excited . This is gonna be my first case , even if as a help , but still  I am finally gonna feel like a real lawyer .

I moved out of my class happily for the first time in the past month that has gone by . I was really disturbed about whatever I was studying , if its right or not , but now its seems just fine.  I called mom and she didn't sounded okay . I asked her if she wanted to be there , but she refused . So I decided that it will be better to take a round there. Cause I know how she is , she will never tell me if something's going on , especially if she needs me .

I called tom and asked him if he could make it to pizza hut's driveway . I was really excited to ask him if we could move in . Leslei warned me not to make such move and all that nuisance about being a girl  , waiting for guy to do so . But I didn't wanted to wait .

" hey , you made it " I squealed as jason entered making a complete fool of myself.

"Yeahhh!!!" he replied awkwardly  .

"What do you wanna eat , huh ? " I asked him making myself remember that I never behave this way .

"Hey , what is it ?  Are you okay ? "

"Uhm ....yeah, why are you asking me this ? " I questioned even though I knew the answer.

"Cause you are acting all weird ? "

"Okay , I want  to ask  you something "  I was in middle of the sentence , when he interrupted me by saying .

"Here we go , afterall . "Excuse me ?

" what do you mean by that ? "There was a tiny but really irritating pause between all waht was going on ,

"I know what you are gonna ask me . Where was my mom last night  , right ?"

"Oh , god no . I know where she was . Your dad told me that she has got some work , so  she'd be staying home . "

"When ? "

"When you were in the washroom.  That's why you were acting all strange . "

"Uhm , no . Actually I wanted to ask something else  . "

"Okay , go ahead . "I insisted .

"Okay , you are free to refuse anytime and there's no pressure.  Thsi is just something I am ready for , not you . "

"Okay " I told him to carry on .

"Eva johnson , will you move in with me ?"

"Oh my god ! I cannot believe you asked  that? "

"What do you mean ? Is it really wrong ? "He asked me in an innocent way .

"No , not at all . I mean ..I was going to ask you the same . My mom bought me a house  sometime ago and I was figuring out that we can live there together.  "

"Oh really , that's awesome , I mean sure . But , wat , whose apartment are we gonna stay in ? "

"Well , basically , yours not an apartment,  it's a mansion . "

"So leave it . We will stay at yours.  "He said to my astonishment . This was this way .

" well , okay .  We will shift day after  tommorow . "

"Why not tommoroe or today "why is he in hurry .

"Oh , i am going to  seattle this evening  to see my mom . "

"So you are saying that you are again gonna miss your classes ""

"No , I will by midnight . "Well , I hope so .

I bid farewell to my love and drive to my moms was really pleasant.  It was relaxing as hell. Sorry to say but breaking the speed limit and driving at 100km per hour was the best experience of my life .

"Hey , mom I know you didn't called me but whatever I am here now and you cannot send me back . "I hugged her as i rumbled upon whole moving in thing and how happy I am .

"I am happy for you dear . It's been a really long time since I have seen you like this . When can I meet jason , like properly . " okay , I hate thos all serious part , sometimes , I just wish we all can just skip it .

"We will see , what about you ? You seemed tense on the line. Is everything okay?"

"Oh ya , totally fine . "

"Mom , c'mon,  what is it ?" 

"I might  loose the  case that your father and I have been fighting ."

"And what  makes you think that? "

"My lawyer "

"Oh , trust me , mom if he makes you think that . He is not the right one . "

"Then who is , eva? "  she asked me , when a stupid but terrific idea striked my mind .

"I can fight your case , I mean if that's possible . Who knows both of yours history better than I do ? "
