chapter 33

"Hey" I said and hugged my mom as soon as i entered my beautiful house which i have been missing since ...what feels like forever . It feels good to be in seattle  . I can breathe again .

" You have gained weight . "She is the first mom on planet who would welcome their kid by telling them to take a run . Still she si the only reason I am this fit .

"I have been good mom , what about you ? "

"Seriously , you gotta run to gym right now.  "

"Mom"i twitched my brow higher  even than before and she giggled and  hugged me .

"Oh shit , I am sorry . I need to change my clothes . " I ran upstairs as  my mom dropped the orange  juice all over me  .

It doesn't feels like my room anymore . Its cells like somebody been living in it . Its changed all over . I mean that's what I feel . She promised me she will neve renovate my room , bit it feels like she did .

I changed my clothes , atleast they are not gone , and headed downstairs .

"So , that's what  the drop was for ?"  I said as I saw my mom and mr frederickson kissing , unaware that my room is not in other galaxy .

"I was about to tell you . "I could make thai worse or behave like a human and listen to her . I mean i know about their relationship , so why's she hiding him like a teenage girl.

"Nice to meet you , mr fredrickson "I walked a few steps and greeted Tom's dad .

"Same here , kiddo.  "Please , not anymore .

"I will leave . "He said and my mom nodded .

"He has been leaving here since  like two weeks . "

"Okay "

"You sound ...not yourself . "

"What do you mean mom ? I mean,  I am sorry . I am not a child anymore . You could have told me instead of hiding him and making him leave before I see him .

"I am sorry , I just need some time to accept all this . "

"Okay , that's fair . Whenever you are ready . "

"Why are you here anyways ? "We are reaching the main conversation and I dont like it .

"Les told me you are having problems with your divorce case . Mom , why don't you ever tell me anything . It feels like  leslie's more of a daughter to you  than I am . It's so stupid of me to always want to know from her what's going on with your life . I mean why not for once you could tell me all the shit that is going through.   "

"Listen , I know it will sound really cliche.  But it's best for you . "

"No, it's not.  I mean mom you are fighting your divorce case . I am studying law . How in the hell can  s help you more then I can . And why  is the case even that difficult now . I am an adult so there's no such thing  as  custody  as you always told was the main problem . "I screamed on my mom  which I...dont regret.

"You won't understand , its complicated " Same old . Same old .

"Really , try me . "

"Okay , but I haven't told you this before . " she said and was numb when I asked he r.

"Mom , what's is it ? "

"Remember when you were seven years old and your dad left and I told you that he is a bad person  and he used to beat me and all . "

"Yes , what about that? "

"It was not true . "

"What ?"

"Ya , it's all made up . The real reson is of our separation was ..."

"What was it ? " I was desperate .

"Uhm ...I cheated on your father , he saw me  , got out of control . He did drugs ..a lot of them . And one day , he was really high and tried to leave the house  with you along .  I mean , he literally kidnapped you . " I was literally dumbstruck.  What could I possibly say to that ? What the hell kind of story it is ?

"He was out of control . Howard ..the guy I was dating back then helped me get rid of him ? He left with a promise of never coming back , fought for you a bit , but promised to keep shut by the money we offered . " okay....

I picked keys from the desk and ran towards my car.  I can't take any stupid decision . I dont know what to do right now and I need time to think.
