After what seemed like forever, both girls arrived at a very small room, it was cosy however. The wallpaper was decorated with mini suns (as if the key chain wasn’t a clear giveaway to the house). There was a single bed, a wardrobe, a desk and chair and one window.
“You’ll get a better room next year, we all started off with this lay out” Rachel laughed whilst looking around, clearly judging the rooms size and contents and not seeming to miss being a first year one bit
“What year are you in?”
“Final, year three”
Kareena set her guitar case on the bed and sat beside it
“So...you’re a musician?” Rachel asked, trying to make conversation and avoid the awkward silences
“No, I actually sing, I just play a little”
Rachel frowned and mumbled to herself, "Singer... Interesting"
"What do you do?" Kareena asked
Rachel smiled, "I’m majoring in drama and dancing...", she looked at her watch, "Speaking off...I needed to sort out something so I’ll just leave you to unpack and settle in”
