The next day, classes flew by so quickly. For some reason, Kareena felt nervous about the party. Two more hours and she’d see him again, there’s something to look forward to. Then again, Rachel would be there too
“So, what are you going to wear?” Zoe asked
“Nothing special, you?”
“Same I guess…” Zoe shrugged
“You alright? We don’t have to go you know”
“No, I want to! It’s just that Mark is going to be there and I don’t know…I guess I wanted to look different”
“So what’s the problem?” Kareena laughed
“I don’t have anything different in my closet”
“Zo…you can borrow something of mine, I have tons of outfits you’d look great in!”
Zoe looked as though she had just received a puppy, “Really?”
“Absolutely, come on- let’s go find you something” Kareena said whilst linking arms with Zoe

Zoe fell in love with a green dress, the upper half had sequins all over and the lower half was just a smooth and shiny silk, she paired it with a pair of silver heels and styled her hair on one side, “What do you think?”
“I think…my clothes suit you better than they do me” Kareena kaughed, “You look amazing! But are you sure you don’t need your glasses?”
“I have my contact lenses on”
Kareena nodded, she took one last look in the mirror, her black skinny jeans and white cotton shoulder top seemed good enough to her. She adjusted her side braid before the girls left

The party was just inside the forest, but to the girls surprise, it was a courtyard area within the forest- a very beautiful one at that. Lanterns hung from branches all around them and there was a bonfire right at the middle of it all. Kareena made a mental note to come back here as she watched people socializing all around her. The sun had already set but the mood had been set and regardless of the lighting, Kareena saw Rachel staring right at her. She then looked closer to the bonfire and saw Zac set down yet another cooler box. Liam was no where to be seen
“Haven’t seen you around lately mystery girl” Chris said whilst standing beside her and Zoe
“I’ve been…busy”
Chris nodded and took a sip of his beer, “Can I get you guys something to drink?”
“No thanks” Zoe smiled
Kareena shook her head, “I’m good”, her attention once again drawn to Rachel who was talking to another girl, she flicked her long hair and laughed at whatever was said, she had to hand it to Rachel, in terms of looks, she was way above a ten- heck with looks like that, she and Liam would make a great pair
“Don’t pay too much attention to her, you’ll miss out on the actual party” Chris said, interrupting her thoughts
Kareena nodded as he left
“She’s not his girlfriend” Zoe said
“Huh?” Kareena asked, a little startled
“Rachel, she’s not Liam's girlfriend. Mark told me”
“Maybe Mark should go tell her that” Kareena laughed
“Tell who what?” Mark asked whilst joining them
