The rest of the day went by a lot better than how it started, until it was time for dance class. “Touch those toes Kareena! Come on! Those are your shins, not your toes!” Mr. Markel boomed, he then swayed of to another student
“You good Kareena?” Zoe asked
“My..body...isn’t capable...of bending over...this way” Kareena gasped as she tumbled and landed face first
“That was...uhmmm, very graceful” came an unfamiliar voice
Kareena looked up to see a guy with his hand extended to her, she took it and he hoisted her to her feet before she took a bow
“Ahhh Mark, come here!” Mr. Markel called
Mark nodded his leave to both the girls before approaching Mr. Markel
“He’s cute” Kareena said playfully to Zoe after noticing just how red her face was, “Maybe cute isn’t the word you’d use though is it” Kareena continued teasing
Zoe playfully shoved Kareena and tried to keep her quiet
“Ladies, warm up before partnering!” Mr. Markel called out
“Yes Mr. Markel” both the girls replied
After an hour and a half longer, the lesson was finally done and they packing their stuff to leave for lunch. Mark held the door open for them
“Thanks” Kareena nodded
Zoe smiled her thanks
“I didn’t catch your names” Mark said whilst looking at Zoe
“I...I’m Zoe”
“Kareena” Kareena smiled
“I’m Mark...you two heading this way?” he asked with a gesture to the right
Zoe nodded
“Mind if I walk with?”
Kareena nodded and grinned at Zoe whose face was flustered and turning red again
