Only making love part 10

*Julia's POV*

It's been almost 6months now since I got back together with Ast. Today is Kira's 4th birthday and we were going to have a small party for her.

I was lay watching my gorgeous boyfriend sleep, he looked so peaceful. his naked chest rising and falling and a slight snore coming from him. i was so lucky to have him. "Morning mummy." I turned to see Kira with her teddy Ast bought her when he first met her under her arm and the other hand rubbing her eye at our bedroom door. "Hey princess." I smiled Ast was flat out next to me in bed he had been out till late with his friends and Conor. "Daddy?" Kira whispered getting onto our bed, "shhh baba daddy is sleepy." "Ok mummy." "How about we go and open some presents, eh birthday girl?" "Yayyy!" She yelled quietly trying not to wake Ast. With that we went downstairs.

After opening all her presents Kira had some breakfast and I helped her change into some clothes, I was determined to make Kira have the best birthday ever. "Mummy?" Kira stood on the baby gate calling me, I was in the kitchen sorting out some party things and having a quick tidy as Ast was still not awake. "Yes princess?" "Mummy please can you put doodle pops on?" "Yes of course." I came through and put the DVD on leaving Kira sat on the sofa sucking her thumb hugging her teddy. I was almost finished when I heard a croaky voice come from the living room "happy birthday princess." Ast had picked Kira up and placed a kiss on her cheek causing her to giggle. Two arms snaked round my waist "morning Merrygold!" I smiled "hmmm morning yummy mummy." "Good night?" I asked "of course. Did I wake you when I came in?" " yeah you shook me and told me you were superman before trying to get ontop of me but falling on the floor laughing." "Oh god!" I chuckled " well superman, it would be great if you could go and put some clothes on. Not that I'm complaining that you are walking round in your boxers but I'd rather not have other mothers with there eyes on you." "Awh are you jealous coz my body is so sexy and you know that Olivia thinks I'm hawt?" "Noooo of course not, your so vain!" "Nope ,just right. Now miss Roos my kiss?" "Yeah? I believe it comes from your lips?" I giggled " your so cheeky." Our faces got closer and we began to kiss. "Ewwwwwh!" Kira shouted while laughing as we broke from our kiss. "I'm going to get ready then babe." "Ok Ast, Kira come on let's out your dress on now your friends will be here soon."

Kira looked so gorgeous I'm her little blue sparkly dress and she loved it ,showing Ast her dress and pretending to marry her prince. I laughed as Ast played along pretending to sob, saying his little girl was too grown up to be told he was funny by Kira. About ten minutes later loads of little kids arrived with their mums/dads to see Kira and have fun at the party I was running round trying to make everything perfect as for Ast well he was helping but Olivia was trying to flirt with him and he felt awkward. I think I sort of got lost in a thought because I didn't even know what holly was saying to me ..."so I was wondering if that's ok?" "Huh? What? Sorry." " the Moses basket? You said my cousin could have it?" "Oh yeah! She's welcome to it I'm not in need of it and Kira is too big for it."

*Ast's POV*

I was helping Julia out with kira's party, I still couldn't believe it had been four years today that Julia had our beautiful little princess. I still can't believe she's turned four and I can't help but kick myself because I missed out on my daughter living the first few years of her life without me. That Olivia had divorced her ex partner, Dave because he became violent and didn't really love her. She's flirting with me and its making me cringe inside and feel awkward, I looked over to Julia who just let out a little giggle then to Kira who was now playing musical statues. I'm not sure what was going on but I saw Julia looking at me as though she was thinking and holly talking to her, it didn't look as though whatever holly was saying was going in. I wonder what holly is saying and what Julia is thinking about.
