"D...Dad?" "You gonna give your old man a hug then?" "Whaaa? How did you know I lived here?" "Babe I'm back with mum. Mum told me." "She did what! Wow that woman can be dumb!" I said going to shut the door in my dads face. "Babe please come on you're older now. You're not with Aston anymore and I don't see you have a child either." "Just because I'm older now doesn't mean I'm just gonna run into your arms and play daddy's little princess and yes I do have a child, your granddaughter if I'm honest and yes I'm with Ast. I love him." "You kept it!" "Her...Kira..." "Can I see her?" "Why? Remember you didn't want her in your family?" "Please honey. I'm your dad I deserve a second chance." "After everything you did! Nahh fam this ain't gonna happen!" "And Aston gets a second chance? Why can't I?" "Dad you haven't been here five minutes and already you've assumed I'm not with Ast and that I had an abortion or something!"
*Ast's POV*
"Julia's right you know Steve." "Oh look here comes mr saint-kiss-my-arse!" I laughed a little "look Steve were together. Kira is beautiful and so smart for her age and we-" "we're doing fine." Julia cut me off. Steve sighed "please just one chance?" "Ugh fine you mess up big time then say goodbye." Julia said sternly. I placed my arms round Julia. I'd forgotten I'd given her a ring yesterday and she was waring it so as she raised her hand and placed it on my cheek before kissing me her dads eyes widened. "When did you marry?" He asked shocked. "A year ago dad." Julia lied I was confused but then realised she was doing this because she didn't want her dad to come to our wedding. "Oh. Thanks for inviting me." He replied his tone full of sarcasm. "Let it go Steve." "Fine." He huffed. I need to go. Ill be round tomorrow." "Kay." Julia replied "bye Steve." I waved fake smiling.
