So here I was waiting for my dad. I just find it funny how he told me to be here in an hour and he's not even here. So I told myself that I will give him 10 minutes to get here then I'm leaving. Well I decided to wait another fucking hour. Then after I waited for almost two hours I was starting to get up when my dad walked in.
Dad: I can explain
Me: the hell you can
Dad: I got held up at-
Me: save it. So what the hell did you want to talk about
He sat in the booth.
Dad: I know this is a long shot but can you give me a second chance
Me: your funny thinking that's possible
Dad: okay and one other thing. I want you ask your mom for a second chance
Me: hell no I don't know if you realize that you put both of us through hell
Dad: okay then I need you to talk to matt
Me: why
Dad: I need you to
Me: you said we needed to talk was it just you telling me what I should and shouldn't do because thats not working for you
Dad: your just like your mother
Then he got up and stormed out.
While I was getting my stuff together then I saw Luke walk in.
Luke noticed me and headed to my booth.
Luke: I just wanted to apologize
Me: it's whatever
Luke: hannah I care and you don't realize that
Me: I can't deal with this right now
Then I got in my car and headed to the liquor store.
I parked the car when I got in the parking lot. I went in and bought another bottle of vodka. When I got out I saw that Luke was outside next door which is a restaurant.
Luke: hannah?
Me: shit
Luke: I thought you were going to stop
Me: well my night has been stressful
Luke: can we talk please.
Me: sure
Luke: okay I was dumb like incredibly stupid for kissing another girl last night. I really like you Hannah.
Me: I like you too but I don't want another guy that will get bored of me and go looking for another girl
Luke: I will never get bored of you and I don't know how anyone can get bored of you Hannah
Me: is this your way of asking me out (I said smiling)
Luke: yeah I guess it is. Spence and Alex are coming over later want to come to
Me: yeah
Then he ditched whoever he came with and we headed to his house.
We got to his house and sat on the couch. I sat in the corner of the couch. Then we watched a movie. Then Spencer and Alex showed up. We got snacks and the Xbox controllers and started playing some video games.
I got a text from Matt saying we have to talk. I ignored it. I started playing video games with them. I got really dizzy.
Me: I'm going to step out for some air
Luke: you okay?
Me: yeah I just need some fresh air
Then I opened the door. Matt was standing there ready to knock on the door.
Matt: what are you doing here
Me: hanging out with Luke
Matt: why
Me: well Spencer and Alex are here and he's my boyfriend
Matt: this is exactly why you are a slut.
A tear ran down my face.
I just closed the door on his face and headed back to where everyone else was.
Then the doorbell rang. Luke got up to get it.
They started yelling at each other.
I was feeling really dizzy I didn't know why. Then it dawned on me. My dad got me a coffee and it took longer than it usually would. I think he might have put something in my coffee. I walked in the kitchen to get a glass of water. Then I dropped the glass cup and I fell back hitting my head on the counter which caused me to pass out.
Luke ran over to where I was but that's all I remember.
When I woke up I was laying in the couch with and ice pack on my head.
Luke: you feeling okay
Me: yeah
I went home an hour later.
When I got home I sat on my porch. Then Matt came up to me
Matt: I'm sorry about everything I did
Me: just stop
Matt: I'm sorry
Me: I can't do this right now
I got in the car. I was mad I hated that he thought that everything was okay. Then I got a call from him. It made me even more madder. Then my mom texted saying she's staying with her new boyfriend. I was steaming with anger. I was going 78 in a 35 zone. And before I knew it my cat collided with a van.
Doesn't that just make things just great.
When I woke up I was in the hospital.
When I woke up I saw that Luke was the only one in the room waiting for me to wake up.
It is actually really sad that my own mother doesn't even show up when you are in the hospital. Just one more thing to add to my list.
Luke: your awake
Me: yeah
Luke: I'm sorry this has happened to you
Me: it's fine it's some what normal
Luke: well I'm not going to leave her until you are released
Me: where is spence and Alex
Luke: in the waiting room they only let one person come in
Me: is my mom or brother here
Luke: no sorry
Me: figures she wouldn't show up
Luke: in sorry Hannah
Me: it's normal
You know how most kids expect there parents to show up at like there games or when they are in the hospital. Well I stopped living up to that expectation when I was 7. It's really sad. When no one shows up. And it's actually even sadder when the people to cheer you on or to show up for support are your friends. I guess I'll eventually get used to it someday. Well maybe not who knows.
The nurse came in saying my brother showed up.
I was honest to god shocked he even cared anymore.
Dylan: do you know who was driving the car
Me: no why
Dylan: it was dad Matt and him set the whole thing up
