"Please, I beg of you..."

"Shit! Shit, no! How did she fucking outsmart me?!" I growled and let my coarse language fly right out of my mouth. I banged my fist on the wall and then did the same with my head.

"Atta boy Red! Become your inner sailor!" Ben laughed at me and I flipped him off with a deadly glare. "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU HOE!" I yelled at him and he only laughed harder.

I was at an arcade with the guys when my body started to literally vibrate. I knew the feeling all too well and in an instant, my body faded into red coding.

I groaned and got ready to kill whoever was playing Pokémon Red when I heard her voice talking to me. Or at least speaking out in general.

Wait, this is Y/n?

What the hell, I literally just saw her like two hours ago!

Those were my thoughts at the time. She was asking me questions and I gave her my answers after acquiring the proper knowledge to do so on the subject. I know knew several parts of her life story...

All thanks to hacking.

But it was so tainted.

And so was she.

I gave her the answer to what sounded like her final question, but stopped midway after realizing what I had done.

Y/n is a fucking genius!

How the hell did she outsmart a computer like that?!

That was why I was on the verge of breaking one of the pinball machines and possibly getting kicked out in a matter of minutes if I were caught in the act.

I didn't understand why she wouldn't heed my warning though. I already knew what would happen if she attempted to approach her douchebag boss alone. It would give her the new position, but it would cost her...

Y/n was in a very tight situation at first, and still is even more so now. She got her job out of luck, bad luck in my opinion, because she had done some... not so commendable things to get there. I didn't judge her or anything of the sort because things like that happen and couldn't be helped. Apparently, from the information I gathered, she had graduated from college and had a major degree in Business. As soon as she was out though, she had nowhere to go with no money or a place to make a steady income.

Until her boss came into the picture.

I felt bad for doing a background check on her behind her back, but I definitely did not regret it. If I hadn't, then she would've been in serious trouble later on. I don't know what that trouble would be, but I know it wouldn't end well for her... unfortunately.

"Bro, calm down..." Silver muttered and nudged my shoulder. I whipped my head in his direction, a menacing scowl engraved on my face. If looks could kill, then everyone in the room would be dead because of me. "Red, your visibly angry again, stop it..." He then frowned and shifted uncomfortably next to me.

Shit! I hate my stupid emotions...!

I frowned along with him before inhaling deeply, exhaling and letting out a much more calmed sigh to release my pent up anger that was on the verge of spilling over the edges. Silver averted his gaze and opened his mouth to speak. He hesitated but didn't close it completely, biting his tongue back from saying whatever was on his mind.

"Hey... W-Was it over that girl...?"

His voice was much quieter than usual and I let out a small grunt. Reluctantly, I nodded my head and ran my hands through my hair anxiously. He was right about that one, and it would have been stupid of me to hide that fact from him at least. He always knew what was going on no matter what. Perks of quietly observing because you don't have the guts to do anything else.

Yeah... I used to be the same way...

Still am.

"I don't understand it mentally, but I do emotionally. I understand that much and that's all that really matters to you, right?" He let out a chuckle that was devoid of any humor and sounded much more sad than anything else. I nodded a bit and buried my face in my hands like the nervous wreck I was.

"We  were broken differently, but some parts of me can still feel your pain. And that's what it means to be best friends, to be brothers. So I'll help you out as best as I can Red, you have my word." Silver smiled at me and I felt his words touch my heart.

Even though he had a more glum look in his eyes and a sad smile, I accepted his words because they meant more to me than anything I could've ever dreamed of.

"Thanks." I nodded a bit and returned his smile with a much more grateful one rather his sad one.

"Of course! Now, let's just celebrate today and worry tomorrow, okay? Afterall, you only get a birthday once a year!" His more chipper tone came back and he cheered, excited for the rest of his birthday party.

I chuckled softly and gently patted his head, showing him affection which he reacted to with a more joyous grin. "Yeah, you're right. Let's party hard!" I nodded affirmatively with a cheeky grin on my face. Together, we walked back over to the other guys, Silver mainly in front of me and guiding me through the meandering people idly standing around or walking by.

Dark Link was leaning against one of the machines, watching Ben and Sonic try to top each other's scores in a single game of Crossy Road. He was a little too quiet and seemed to be thinking something over with a guilty expression on his face.

"Ah, Silver, I'm gonna check on Link. Call me over when you're ready to play a game or two or just bring out your cake." I spoke so that only he could hear. "Right, have fun Red." He smiled and I walked off. I snuck up behind dark Link, slowly inching my way towards his backside.

Just when I was about to scare him, he turned around and dropped to his knees in front of me. I blinked with confusion and even Ben and Sonic looked over briefly before continuing their game.

"MY DEAREST FRIEND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE EVENTS THAT OCCURRED EARLIER TODAY I EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR GRABBING THE ASS OF YOUR FUTURE—"

I punched the top of his head and scoffed, rolling my eyes from how annoying his little outburst was. Not only was it very embarrassing, but it was super uncalled for and just... weird...

Is that why he snuck away like that...?

It was probably an accident or something unintentional.

"A-Assident-- I MEAN ACCIDENT!" Dark Link was pretty much in tears from all the guilt and shame he was feeling inside. I raised an eyebrow and sighed, shaking my head in dismay. "I get it... you're really pathetic sometimes... I don't get you." I muttered and walked off to find Pac-Man to play.

Bitch really?

Like HELL!

That is far from the truth!

I DO care, and I'll make sure he pays for touching Y/n like that!
