___Y/N'S POV
"Mommy... If I go to school... W-Will people make fun of me...?" Ash held up his hands that were a mixture of his normal skin tone and red and black coding. I smiled softly and ran my fingers through his hair.
"If people make fun of you, then you tell Mommy, okay? I'll make all your problems go away." I planted a soft kiss on his cheek and he giggled in a ticklish manner. "Where's Daddy? Can I go play games with Daddy and his friends?" He looked up at me with his big, red eyes.
They were a beautiful mix of red and brown for some reason. A wonderful mahogany that brightened up any room he walked in. His hair was spiky, but cute. I could play with it for days and Ash wouldn't even care. He loved when I gave him my undivided attention, just like now. Though at the same time, his hair would never stay out of his face, so I could generally only see one eye if I didn't fix it.
"Hm, sure. But I don't want you to come back saying all those bad words. Daddy knows this, so if it happens, you're both getting a punishment." I warned him but couldn't help the smile on my face.
Ash was a good boy. He would never disobey me. He never did anything bad and was just quiet and shy. He was my cute little boy.
"Okay Mommy! Have fun working!" Ash gave me a tight hug and I held him close. "Thank you baby boy. I love you so much." I whispered softly and squeezed him tight. "M-Mommy... You're gonna squish me! I love you too!" He squealed and tried to worm his way out of my arms.
I laughed and released him onto the bed. "Okay, I'm sorry little boy. I'll miss you." I got up from his bed and waved him goodbye as I walked out. "I'll miss you more Mommy!" He waved back ecstatically.
My sweet little boy.
He is definitely worth living for.
I sighed softly and grabbed my phone from the kitchen counter. It was an early Friday morning that I had gotten used to. Julian wanted me at work at a different time so that I could open up the company building with him. It was a school day for Ash, but he always woke up early with me just to say bye.
He took care of himself while Silver was asleep. Occasionally, Lost would be up and he and Ash would eat breakfast together and read books before he got ready for school. It was the most heartwarming thing ever, and I hated that I missed it all. I told Julian countless times about what Ash was capable of at the age of six, and he was thoroughly impressed.
Julian...
Julian, along with my family would visit all the time. They spoiled Ash and even though I didn't like the fact of spoiling my children in the future, he would be the exception. He was so humble and modest and there was just nothing bad about my little boy.
When Ash was around a month or two, Silver and I got married. The funny part about it was that I never really realized that he didn't have a last name. He only had the title Lost Silver. So we came up with a generic excuse as to why he already had my last name when we were out getting the marriage certificate. It was a hassle, but a very fun memory he and I share.
Silver was able to help me reach true happiness after what had happened all those years ago. All the doubts I had of whether moving on was wrong of me to do after I had lost Red went away over time thanks to him. Silver told me everything that Red wanted from me and him. It opened my eyes to the reality that I was living in and gradually, Silver and I fell in love.
I loved him. I loved our baby. I loved our little family. We had a stable home and never complained about anything we didn't have. Silver and I both worked to provide while Lost... He was mostly housewife.
