___Y/N'S POV

"Do you have to go? You could spend the night and then leave in the morning." I wrapped the bag of ice in once of the spare towels I had and handed it over to him.

Red chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Babe, I don't think I would've been able to spend the night. I can barely keep my hands off of you, even now. Imagine what sleeping together would be like." He kissed the side of my face and gave me a teasing smirk.

I blushed and nodded in an understanding way. "Y-Yes... you're right... I'm sorry." I sighed softly and rested my head on his chest gently. I felt his hand rest on my head and I looked up at him.

"Nah, don't be. I would've asked the same thing. And besides..." He leaned in very close, his lips nearly pressed against my ear as he spoke in a hushed whisper.

"I'll be back for seconds babe."

With those last words, he left a final kiss on my lips before walking out the front door. He had the ice on his knuckles but still managed to wave me a goodbye with a cute smile on his face.

I closed the door and let out a shaky sigh. Watching him leave made my heart sink, but at the same time, I felt a barrier break off of my heart. A sense of relief washed over me and I smiled weakly.

Thank you Red...

I'm slowly discovering my self-worth again...

My eyes widened a bit when I heard the ticking of the clock overhead. "Ah! No, no, NO! Shit...!" I panicked and ran up the stairs, stumbling a bit as I almost tripped over my own two feet.

I threw my bedroom door open and gathered up my clothes to sleep in. I was in such a hurry that trying to put my phone on the  harger made me frustrated. "GRRRAGH!!" I let out a battle cry and nearly smashed my charging port until it finally went in.

"Cool!" I rubbed the back of my head and smiled nervously before hurrying back out my room and running down to my bathroom as fast as I could. My whole schedule was thrown for a loop because Red had stayed longer than I thought he would. I was already an hour behind my night routine, which meant I was going to sleep as soon as I got out the shower for the optimal amount of sleep. Losing sleep with the type of job I had was basically suicide! But at the same time, Jullian had yet to inform me what my new position was.

It's my first day back in a week...

I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I'm just a little sluggish.

I grabbed my new bottle of soap and shampoo and ran the steamy water for my shower. Apparently, the more steam the better, but I was going to test that out now. I stripped off my clothes and gave a stretch with a small yawn. "Soooo tired..." I muttered before stepping into the shower.

HOLY SHIITAKE RED COMPLETELY COVERED MY NECK WITH HICKEYS!!

It makes me wanna melt at just the mere thought of what would happen if we ever did sleep together.

Oh, I would be so awkward!

He's so hot and probably has way more experience than I do!

Ah... experience...

"Oh Red! You make me so flustered..." I squished my own cheeks and let out a childish whine. The water ran down my body in cleansed me of my daily negative feelings. That was the main reason I took two showers a day. I felt cleaner and much more at peace with myself. My heart, soul, mind, and body finally felt tame and were able to compromise and form my body.
