"Silver, wait. This doesn't make sense. Her phone claims that she's here, at the mansion. But there's no way that's possible." I looked closely at the laptop screen and traced all the coordinates shown.

"That's what I thought at first. Until another factor entered the equation." Silver sighed and started typing away on the laptop more. A list of names started to appear and more dots appeared.

"These are the coordinates of all the residents of this mansion. The people who are currently in and the ones that aren't." He pointed at the list of names and I followed his finger.

"Huh. Almost everyone's in except for... Jeff, Jane, Toby, Natalie, Slenderman, and..." My voice grew quiet when I saw the name at the bottom of the list.

"Hey... and his coordinates say that he's here, the same exact spot as Y/n, which is apparently in the mansion. It just doesn't add up. He's technically "out" yet he's somehow here." Silver shook his head with a concerned look on his face.

"O-Oh no... Zalgo kidnapped Y/n... Silver, we have to go now!! What if he hurts her?! Or worse?!" I clenched my fists and rushed over to grab my bag in the corner.

"Calm down Red! We can't just rush in there with a whim like that. It sounds the most accurate, but even still! Plus, how do you know that Zalgo isn't planning something? He's really strong, you know that..." He grabbed my shoulder tightly and glared at me.

"I get that! But at the same time, Y/n could be suffering right now Silver! I can't sit here and wait any longer! Her family is worried sick and she's been gone for FOUR DAYS NOW! That's too long for her to wait on help!" I countered and shook his hand from my shoulder.

We stared each other down with a glare locking us in our positions. We were deadlocked on what needed to happen to save Y/n.

But who had the better choice?

"Re—!"

"No Silver, I'm going on my own." I interrupted him and walked towards the laptop.

"But Red... what if something happens to you?" Silver frowned and stepped back, watching my leave.

"Then we still have that promise, remember?" I chuckled humorlessly and tugged at my hat.

"Wait! Where's Glitchy? Can I see him!" Lost forced himself out and Silver stumbled back from the sudden pain.

I paused and looked back at them. "You know I can't do that like you can Lost." I shook my head, but immediately wanted to revoke my statement.

Just like Silver, I stumbled back into the wall from a sudden pain and looked up to see Glitchy. His body was much more distorted than usual and he seemed to be struggling.

"What do you want Lost?" Glitchy scoffed and crossed his arms. "I... I promise I'll protect her for you. But only if something happens to you, got that? Don't go dyin on me!" Lost grinned cheekily and walked over towards Glitchy.

Glitchy grinned as well and leaned in close to Lost. "What tea you got?"

I watched as they whispered to each other and grew curious as to what they were saying. They both had blank expressions so it was hard as to whether the news was anything important.

"Damn it Glitchy... That shit hurt! Since when could you do that?!" I regained my balance and scoffed. "Shut up. All you do is complain. Let's go." He rolled his eyes and grabbed the collar of my shirt.

In the blink of an eye, his body was gone and I inhaled sharply. Red particles lingered in the air before disappearing and I sighed. "Just as annoying as ever..."

I placed my bag in my shoulder and looked back at Silver and Lost. "Yo. Remember our promise. Just in case. I'll see ya later lil bro." I waved and gave a small salute with a smile before jumping headfirst through the screen.

At the time, I didn't even realize that Silver was crying.

Or that Lost was wishing me a final farewell with a genuine frown on his face.

I didn't realize what I was leaving behind.

"Red, just give me a few more minutes please. I'll formulate a plan for us both to go and save Y/n. I don't want you to get hurt anymore. If things go wrong, then she would probably feel the same way she does now. Hurting, because you're not there." Silver said softly and looked down.

I rested my head against the wall and closed my eyes.

He's right...

Like always, Silver is fucking right...

I'm so incredibly selfish Y/n, please forgive me...

"Y-Yeah..." I sighed and turned around towards him. "I trust you Silver. You know what to do. And I know you'll get it done quick." I walked over and grabbed his shoulders.

He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. "Th-Thanks Red... But... Why are you crying?" He asked with a sheepish grin.

I was confused at first but started chuckling. "Y-You're the one that's cryin." I felt a small tear slip down my cheek as I looked down at him.

"Shut up...! I-I'm just happy you're still okay!" He snapped before embracing me tightly in a hug. I patted his back and hugged him. "Yeah, me too..."

"Aw!" I saw a camera flash out the corner of my eye and quickly pulled away from Silver. I blushed from embarrassment and quickly looked away as I saw the guys at the door with all three of them holding up a different phone.

"You guys make a great couple!" Ben cooed and I continued to shield myself. "Shut up, dumbasses. We're having brother bonding time. And Ben, you're one to talk about "great couple" since your feelings for Dark are one sided." Silver retorted and shot him a glare.

Ben's face burned with red and Dark Link snickered quietly. "Shots fired Benjamin." Sonic chuckled and tossed the phone he had on the couch.

"Thanks bro..." I muttered to Silver while Ben tried to think of a comeback.

"Anyway, I came up with a plan." He grinned and tugged me over to a corner. "Yeah? Shoot then." I nodded and leaned in close.

"I'll go in first. If the coast is clear and I've found Y/n, I'll send you a signal. You'll know it when you see it. Then you'll come in and save Y/n while I distract Zalgo if he shows up. If he's there and I can't find her, then I'll come back right away. Got it?" Silver explained and I nodded along to his words.

I'll know it when I see it?

That's the most vague thing I've ever heard in my life...

Gee thanks Silver.

"Uh, yeah. I got it for the most part. Let's get to it then." I grabbed his bag and tossed it to him.

That's right. We had matching bags.

Silver caught it and slung across his back as I did to mine. "Okay! Let's do it!" He walked over to the laptop and without another warning, jumped headfirst into it.

I gave him a thumbs up and chuckled at his bravery.

Thanks for saving me Silver...

I owe you my life.
