"Y/n!!"
Her family engulfed her in a hug and she returned it with a sad smile on her face.
"Sis, you had us so worried... I'm so happy you're back home!" Tyler was in tears as he held onto his older sister a little longer than her parents.
"I missed you too Ty... I'm so glad you're all okay." Y/n sniffled softly and rested her head on his chest gently.
"Oh, the handsome young man kept his word. Your boyfriend, he's such a gentleman. Where is he so that we can all properly thank him?" Her mother smiled sweetly through her tears and her father nodded.
Y/n squeezed her eyes shut and looked away towards the floor. "H-He's dead mom..." She muttered and pulled away from Tyler.
"O-Oh my... Y/n, we're so sorry..." Her father frowned and gently wrapped her in his arms.
"N-No, it's okay... I'll be okay." Y/n sighed softly and slipped out of his arms. "I need some fresh air... Please excuse me." She stepped away towards the front door and walked out without another word.

"Lost Silver? You were his brother? I see. Thank you for this, and I send my condolences."
Slenderman's words meant a lot to Silver, even though they were simple and pointless.
He nodded with a sad smile. "Th-Thanks so much..." He let out a quiet sigh and walked out the front doors.
"Hey Silver... You ready to go?" Sonic stood up from the wall outside on the porch. Ben and Dark Link smiled softly and waited on the two of them.
"Yeah, I think I have everything. Are you sure you're all okay with this?" Silver slipped the hat over his head and gripped the handle of his suitcase tightly.
"Look dude, we support whatever you decide to do. We know it's hard, and even if you plan on leaving us, we'll always be right here for you, in the basement." Ben grinned and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about us for once. You're an adult now. You're just taking your first steps by making your first big decision. Just... don't forget to visit us, okay?" Dark Link whined and hugged Silver's arm.
"Mother dearest. Annoying big brother. Father says come on!" Sonic urged them onwards with the new nicknames he came up with, which caused Dark Link to blush even more and for Ben to start fuming.
"Haha, yeah! Let's get moving!" Silver hopped down the steps of the elegant porch before walking towards the open area in front of the mansion.
"Hey Exe, think fast!" Ben called out and tossed a phone out at him that went flying until it hit Sonic's head. The impact caused him to lose consciousness and get absorbed into the phone.
"Annnnnd he's outta here!" Ben cheered before dragging Dark by the collar and shoving him into the phone as well, despite the protest and fighting.
"See ya on the outside Silver." Ben grinned and gave a small salute before sliding into the phone.
Silver looked down at it and gazed at the items in his hands. He had his suitcase in his hand and it was packed with all of his belongings, which wasn't much. He didn't want to be in the Creepypasta mansion any longer so that he could escape the scene of his brother's death.
Mostly though, he was going for Y/n. Silver needed to honor the promise he made to Red and play the role that had been given to him. It was going to be one of the hardest things he'd have to face in life.

How do I approach her in this situation?
She's probably still crying over Red and I'm over here trying to make her fall in love with me.
I'm a terrible person.
I don't know why I ever thought I could do this.
Why I could be like him.
Why I could love Y/n the same way.
"Silver." Her voice broke my thoughts and I looked up at her. She looked as beautiful as ever and it made my heart rise from the dark place it had been locked in.
"Y/n..." I smiled sheepishly and took a step towards her. This was my chance to fulfil my role, the one that Red had entrusted me with.
"Let's... let's stay together please... Until the very end." Y/n walked towards me and I released the handle of my suitcase. "B-But you don't... love me..."
My words didn't even reach her. She embraced me in a tight hug and I was hesitant to hug her back, but after realizing what she meant, I hugged her back tightly and held her close to my chest.
"This was what he wanted... Right? For us both to be happy. So I'll be happy with you. I'll fall in love with you too, Silver." She said softly and rested her head on my shoulder. I felt the tears sting at my eyes, but I resisted the urge to cry.
"I... I'm already in love with you Y/n..." I muttered softly and let out a shaky sigh.
I could tell she was smiling. Smiling even though her heart was pained. All of the scars from yesterday's events were there, but she was fighting through them for me.
I was going to do the same.
Her smile...
It makes me so happy.
