Things between us are rocky.
Yeah, I know what you mean.
In the end though, we'll still be friends, rights?
Friends, no.
We'll be more than friends still.

___Y/N'S POV
"That's amazing! Even my bros can't beat the Pokémon League in even the original games! You're a gamer for sure." Red laughed softly and sifted through my collection of games for other systems. "Yeah well... I stopped after college because it was job time." I giggled, watching his happy expressions making me die of laughter.
"Which gives me an idea... We should go to an arcade together." He looked back up at me with an awkward smile. One that was too cute to refuse.
Not that I would have refused in the first place though.
My eyes widened and I agreed eagerly and without any second thoughts. "That sounds fun! What about tomorrow though? It's my last day before work, work, and even more work. And after the arcade, we can see a movie, and then—!"
"Haha, Y/n! We'll go to the arcade, and then from there... we'll go with the flow. Wherever the street leads us, y'know?" He shook his head and looked at me with those sweet, caring eyes of his. They made my heart melt and my cheeks erupt into blush.
He is definitely my type of guy.
"Thennnn! It's a date?" I chirped and clasped my hands together excitedly. Red nodded a bit and sat down beside me on the bed. His added weight made me bounce a bit and I squeaked.
"You're too cute sometimes. But of course," He ran his hand down my cheek and caressed it gently, "It's a date. Tomorrow."
Red had stayed by my side the whole evening until later when my parents had arrived. We talked about all kinds of things that we shared in common, shared some laughs, and to make things better, he introduced me to his closest friend.
"You know Pokémon Silver, right?" Red looked through my basket of Gameboy games that were kept separately from everything else. I nodded happily and watched him with a trusting but curious gaze. "You bet! What about it?"
He managed to fish out the game from the bottom of the pile and popped it into my system. "Well, he's my best friend slash brother. We're technically brothers because we came from the same place, but not at the same time because we came from two different generations of Pokémon games." He smiled as he explained to me the logistics of his statement, placing the Gameboy on the bed and getting back into position beside me at the head of the bed.
I coped and hugged his arm tightly, tugging on it and making the weirdest sounds known to mankind. "AWW!! BROMANCES ARE SOOOOO ADORABLE RED OMG!!" I squealed and nuzzled his muscular arm happily. I could tell that he had been mildly scarred and I let out a loud laugh.
"Uhh... Were you always this weird?" He raised an eyebrow and I crossed my arms with a solid nod.
"Affirmative— HOLY HECKEN CHEESECAKES!!" I gasped before yelling out and jumping back into the headboard when I saw half of somebody's body standing idly on my Gameboy.
"Big bro— Oh!!" He too was startled when from my strange reactions and jumped a bit. He had black hair and wore a grey hat backwards. He had somewhat of a muscular build.
Not as muscular as Red but still pretty cute.
The only thing, was that he didn't have any arms.
