Ian's POV

" What's wrong?" I asked the chauffeur.

" Sir, Traffic jam." He said and I gritted. Why is this city always crowded as hell?!!

" Hmm, try to reach office as soon as it is possible." I said to him.

I don't know why I was too eager to meet the beauty. May be because I was going to give her a shock today. Yeah, quite hard one. She will definitely come to know whom she has messed with. I don't like people talk against me. If it was someone else then I would have punished him at once but no. The same theory won't be applicable for her. She deserves some more.

I was thinking and suddenly I heard someone knocking on the window. I found a little girl of 8 or 9. I kept looking at her for awhile as my heart clenched at once seeing her. I closed my eyes and a very familiar face flashed in front of me. I could still hear those horrible screaming. I opened my eyes at once. I found her still there standing with a smile. My driver was going to say something to her but I stopped him at once. I rolled down the window and looked at her. She was holding some flowers. She said something to me but I couldn't understand that properly. I think she wants me to buy some flowers from her.

" What is she saying?" I asked the chauffeur.

" Don't trust these kids, Sir. They are too cunning." He said. I glared at him.

" Do as much as you have said. Otherwise I don't know how long will you be able to be here." I said strictly and he nodded. " What is she saying?" I asked him.

" She is asking you to buy some flowers from her." He said and I nodded. I smiled at her. I took all her flowers and she looked at me weirdly. I gave her the money but she refused to take all.

" What is she saying now?" I asked him.

" She is saying that her mother has forbidden her to keep the change." He said. I nodded.

" Tell her it's reward for her obedience to her mother." I said and he translated that to her. She smiled and nodded this time.

" What is your name?" I asked her but she couldn't understand. She looked at the chauffeur who translated it to her. She said her name was Ganga. The chauffeur and she herself made me understand somehow that Ganga is the name of a goddess. I smiled beautiful name for a cute little girl like her.

" It's very risky. How have you reached in the middle of the road?" I asked her and she waited for the chauffeur to translate it to her. She giggled like I have said something very funny.

" Why is she laughing?" I asked the chauffeur.

" Sir, she must belongs to a very poor family. She has to earn her livelihood herself. She has to do this to arrange two times meals." He said and I looked at the smiling little girl weirdly. Really??! This little girl has to fight like this to earn her livelihood?!!

" Don't you go to school?" I asked her as he translated her that she shook her head looking down.

" Why not?" I asked.

" She is saying that she has 3 more younger siblings to take care of as both of her parents passed away. Her siblings goes to school this why she has to take care of them." He said and I looked at her completely shocked. "Sir, life of these kids are not so easy. They born to struggle and die struggling as well." He said. I looked at the bright smiling face. I kept my hand on her head patted a bit. I took out my visiting card and gave it to her.

" If you ever feel that you need anything or my help then call me. There is my number. My name is Ian." I said. She took the card and smiled as she was translated what I have told her. She joined her hands together which I have learned these days a greeting gesture here. I nodded smilingly.

In the same time the traffic was cleared and the vehicles started to move. I looked at Ganga in horror as I found her crossing the road in between the chain of vehicles dangerous. I let the breath go which I was holding inside as I found her already crossed the road safely. I sighed.

" Sir, there are a lot of kids like is. She is just one of them. How many of them will you help?" The chauffeur asked.

" You everyone tried to help one of them then they wouldn't be here today. After all they are not more than the population of your country, are they?" I asked him and he sighed.

" Not everyone will think like you, Sir." He said.

" Never speak ill about someone without knowing anything about them. They had to be cunning because they has to grow up like this. Do you think being innocent will help them here anyhow?" I asked him and he shook his head. " Do you have kids?" I asked him.

" Yes, Sir." He said.

" Do you have a daughter?" I asked him.

" 2 , Sir." He said.

" Then how can you see that little like that? Keep your daughter at her place and think. Could you let your children live there in the road with all those insecurities?" I asked him and he sighed.

" Sorry, Sir." He said.

" Don't say sorry. Just change your views. These kids are not in the street willingly. They are forced to be here. If they had families and a civil life they wouldn't have any reason to stay in the street." I said. " Next time if you talk nonsense you will be fired at once." I said.

I don't know what's wrong with these people but they themselves are the reason behind this kind of discrimination. They can help those little kids if they want but they will not. Morever if someone else tries to help them they will start to discourage them. This situation can never be changed if they themselves don't want to. Never ever.
