Stupidity

Divya's POV

" Maine pehle hi bola tha." (I have told you before) Sanam said and I sighed.

" Haan, bola tha. To?" (Yes, you did. So what?) I asked her. She rolled her eyes.

" Mujhe paata tha woh tumse pyaar kertay hai. Tum to meri ek nahi shuni." (I told you before that he loves you. But you didn't pay heed to me) she said.

" Achha kia." (Did well) I said to her.

" Whatever." She said.

" Jaldi taiyaar ho jao. Hum late ho rahe hai." (Get ready. Hurry up!!! We are getting late.) I said to her.

" Mujhe nahi jaana. Tum jao." (I don't want to go. You can go.) She said. I sighed.

" Thik hai main Anna to call kerti Hoon. Woh aake tumhe le jayenge. Thik hai na?" (Ok. I am calling Anna. He will come and take you there. Ok?) I said to her and she glared at me.

" I hate you." She said.

" No, you don't." I said.

" Tum meri dost ho ya dusmaan?" (Are you my friend or enemy?) She asked me.

" I am my brother's sister then your friend." I said and she gave me an expressionless look.

" Anna is waiting there. Hurry up." I said.

She rolled her eyes and got up from the bed. She took a long shower wasting almost an hour. I fall asleep while waiting for her. Then she wasted another hour to get ready and there Anna was calling me again and again that everyone is already there. Actually Anna's friends arranged a small party as he got engaged cause they thought no girl will be able to tame and tolerate him ever. 

" Kaisy lag rahi hoon?" (How do I look?) Sanam asked me. I looked at her and gave her a thumbs up.

" Achhi lag rahi ho." (You are looking pretty) I said. " Ab chaalo." (Let's go now) I said to her. She nodded and we walked out of there.

We reached the place in half an hour. It was already late and that was Sanam's fault. Not mine. I found them and dragged Sanam with me. She rolled her eyes. She was going to sit with me but I pushed her away and made her sit with Anna and I myself sat with Chitra. I saw Arun there but ignored him. He is out of my life now.

" Anna, Ian nahi Aya?" (Anna, hasn't Ian come yet?) I asked Anna.

" Aajayega." (He will be there) he said and I nodded.

" Hey, Kaisy ho aab?" (Hey, how are you now?) Chitra asked me.

" Thik ho bas." (I am fine) I said to her.

" Hmm... Get well as soon as it possible." She said. I chuckled.

" I will. No worries." I said to her.

" Am I late?" I heard Ian.

" No, it's ok." Anna said and he sat next to me.

" Hi." He said to me and I rolled my eyes. " Where are the kids?" He asked me.

" Their exam is going to start from tomorrow. So, Amma didn't let them come." I said and he nodded.

" Your ex is there. Have you said hi to him?" He whispered in my ear looking at Arun who was also looking at us.

" No, I didn't. He is out of my life." I said to him.

" Good. Don't talk to him. I don't like it." He said.

" And why is that?" I asked him and he glared at me.

" Don't make me lose control over myself. You don't have any idea how dangerous I can be." He said.

" I want to see that dangerous side of yours." I said and he sighed deeply. Then chuckled.

" I choose not to show you that side ever." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Whatever." I said.

" Why is he here anyways? Vivan said it's his friends only." Ian asked.

" I told you that he is Chitra's cousin." I said to him. He nodded.

Food arrived and we started to have dinner. I looked at Ian who was silently having his dinner. Everyone was a bit chitchatting. I kept looking at him for awhile then poked on his arm and he turned to me.

" Any problem?" He asked me.

" No. Why are you so silent today? Again jealous of Arun?" I asked him. He didn't say anything just started to have his dinner again. " I didn't call him. Why are you showing your anger on me?" I asked.

" I am not angry. I am fine." He said.

" You are fine? Ok. If you are fine then why are you too silent?" I asked him.

" I will tell you later." He said and I nodded.

" Is that anything serious?" I asked him.

" It depends." He said.

" Hmm... Ok. We will discuss about it later." I said.

" You have your dinner." He said. I nodded.

Rest of the dinner we were silent. Just kept listening to them talking. What suddenly has happened to him?!! God knows. I hope nothing bad.

" Are you bored?" Ian asked suddenly.

" No. I am not. Just a bit worried." I said.

" About what?" He asked me.

" What happened to you?" I asked him. He chuckled.

" Nothing serious." He said.

" You are avoiding the topic." I said to him.

" No. Not avoiding. I will tell you. We need some time for that." He said.

" Ok. I will wait then." I said. He hold my hand and intertwined our fingers.

" Hmm... Thanks." He said then turned to Arun. " Mr. Dhilon, it was nice to meet you. That day we couldn't talk that much. The thing I wanted to ask you why are you following Divya everywhere?! Last time I checked you left her for your family. Now why are you following her? Clarify your intentions before everyone." He said and I looked at him weirdly. He was looking at Arun calmly but I knew he was burning inside.

" First of all you are no one to ask that to me and secondly she is not your personal property." Arun said and I gritted.

" He is my boyfriend." I said to him angrily. " He has every right to ask that. If you follow me next time I will file a case against you." I said.

Everyone was looking at us weirdly only Anna chuckled at this and Sanam sighed deeply. Who cares!!!! Arun needs to no that we are done. There is nothing between us. He needs to stop with his stupidity.
