Ian's POV

" Come home fast." She said as soon as I picked the call up.

" Why? Everything ok?" I asked her.

" We are going to the temple. Come join us." She said.

" You know, Babe. God and I don't match each other. He always hates me." I said.

" I don't want to hear anything. You can't just be like this. This puja is kept for the newly wedded couple and their beautiful future ahead. You said yesterday that Anna is like your own brother. Now you can't step back. You have to come. I will not take no as an answer. Don't you want the couple have a happy married life ahead?" She asked me and I sighed deeply. This  girl!!!

" Why are you emotionally blackmailing me?" I asked her.

" Are you coming or not?" She asked me.

" Ok. Ok. I will come. I can't wear dhoti. Can I come in casual?" I asked her.

" Yes. Better. You don't have to wear dhoti today. Once was enough. Just don't come in your business suit. And don't wear black. Otherwise I will kill you." She said.

" What's wrong with back, Babe?" I asked her.

" Because I told you to do that. I don't want to kill anyone in the temple. Don't wear black, girls keeps ogling you." She said and I chuckled.

" You can ogle me, Babe. I won't mind." I said.

" Ian!!! I am not joking." She said.

" Then who said I am kidding, babe? I am serious as well." I said.

" Hmm... Wear some light color. Grandma is going with us as well." She said.

" I should wear white then. It's her favorite color." I teased her.

" Ian!!!!" She squealed. " Ok, wear whatever you want." She said.

" Dark red or parrot green or baby pink?" I asked her.

" I hate you." She said.

" No. You don't." I said.

" Come home in half an hour. If you are late I will kick your face." She said. Here comes my boss lady.

" Ok, ma'am. I will try to reach your place in half an hour if I don't stuck in traffic." I said to her.

" Alright. Don't wear dark red, baby pink or parrot green." She said to me.

" Ok. I will wear something floral." I said.

" It's too girly. Yuck." She said and I chuckled. " Wear white. That's perfect." She said and I chuckled.

" Ok, I will wear glistening golden." I said.

" Ian!!!! Don't irritate me. I am warning you." She said.

You should stop now. I said to myself and chuckled.

" Ok. I will wear white. Happy?!" I asked her.

" For the time being." She said.

" Ok, bye babe. Can you wear some thing red? It looks good on you." I said to her.

" I am already wearing red." She said.

" Thank you so much for that, Babe. You got a tight hug. Will see when we met in awhile." I said to her.

" We will see." She said. " Bye. If you want to live then don't be late." She said and I chuckled.

" Ok, ma'am." I said and hung up.

I went to the washroom and took a quick shower. I came out of there and wear a white shirt just like my lady has ordered. I chuckled looking at myself. I never ever thought I will be this crazy for any girl. I thought girls are just an attraction. I never thought I will get defeated in front of a girl. But this happened to me. She is literally ruling me in and out. I chuckled again. I don't mind being ruled by my woman. I kinda love her bossy behavior, her fire blazing spirit. She is definitely different from all the other girls. She is unique in her own way. That's what I love the most about her.

I came out of the house and drove toward their house. There wasn't much traffic on the road today. I reached their place and parked the car. I reached her house and found everyone ready to go to the temple. I didn't want to go there but I had to. I talked to Vivan and then we went to the temple. I was literally bored and walked out of there. I was checking my phone. Suddenly heard Noel from behind.

" Bored?" He asked me.

" Uhh... No?" I said. He chuckled.

" Confused?" He asked me. I shook my head.

" Ok, let's have a walk." He said and I nodded. " So, what's your plan? Getting married and settling down here?" He asked me.

" I am not sure about it yet. My plan is to expand my business all over the world." I said.

" You already have. Where else do you want to go now?" He asked me.

" Like I have told you, I am not sure. I have to do many things here to make my business run successfully here in India." I said.

" Well, best of luck for that." He said.

" Thank you." I said.

" Hmm... how is India?" He asked me.

" Better than I expected." I said.

" It has to and you found your match here. You should say that." He said.

" Yeah, that's a great fact of my being here actually. I thought I will not be able to live here like that." I said.

" Hmm.. very well." He said. " You got people who loves you, who cares for you and who genuinely wants you to be happy. What do you think about it?" He asked me.

" Well, that must be a miracle. All I can say." I said.

" What about gift?" He asked me.

" Gift?" I got confused.

" A divine gift of God." He said. I chuckled.

" God and I don't match each other. He has forgotten me long back." I said.

" If he had forgotten you long back then you would be in dark, Ian. Do you consider yourself still bring in dark when you have people around who want you, need you and love you genuinely?" He asked me and I looked at him weirdly for awhile..

" I don't know." I said. " What do you think?" I asked him.

" I think you are not. You are not in dark at all. But if you are still confused then ask someone who can make it clear for you." He said. " Do you know who it is?" He asked me. I shook my head.

" Him." He pointed something and I found Jesus Christ and I got surprised finding myself inside the church. I gulped. What's happening is not wrong but still I think I am not able to face God. May be that connection between us has broken. Can it be revive again?!!
