" Lekin woh yesa kyun karega?" (But why would he do so?) Sanam asked me.

" Paata nahi yaar. Main khud bhi yehi soch rahi Hoon." (I don't know, dude. I myself am thinking about it) I said to Sanam.

" Accha, jiyaada socho maat. Tumhari flight ka time hogyi." (Ok, don't think about it too much. It's time for your flight) she said to me.

" Achha thik hai phir kaal miltay hai." (Ok then I will see you tomorrow.) I said to her.

" Aapna khayal rakhna." (Take care of yourself) she said to me.

" Tum bhi." (You too) I said before walking out of her cabin.

I walked towards the lobby and found Poonam. She smiled and walked toward me.

" Hey, Cap." She said to me.

" Hey!!! How are you doing?" I asked her.

" I am completely fine. What about you?" She asked me

" I am fine as well." She said.

" Flight kaab hai aapki?" (When is your flight?" She asked me.

" Bas kuch hi der mai." (Just in awhile) I said.

" Mumbai ja rahe ho ap?" (Are you going to Mumbai?) She asked me.

" Nahi Hyderabad." (No, going to Hyderabad) I said.

" Oh, that's great." She said. I chuckled.

" Tum kaha ja rahi ho? Flight nahi hai Kya aaj?" (Where are you going? Don't you have flight today?) I asked her.

" Nahi aaj meri off day hai." (No, it's my off day today) she said.

" To office Kya ker rahi ho? Tumhe to gher hona chahiye tha." (If it's your off day then what are you doing here at office? You should be at home, shouldn't you?) I asked her.

" Haan, hona to chahiye tha lekin woh Kya hai na, Maine apna ek jaroori document Sonal ko dia tha last week. Woh yehi reh gaye thay. Wohi lene k lie ayi thi." (Yeah, I should. But what happened was, last week I have given Sonal one of my very important documents copy. It was here. I came to pick it up) she said.

" Oh. Accha thik hai. Mujhe Jana chahiye. Flight ka time hogyi. See you." (Oh. Ok then. I should leave. It's time to take off. See you) I said to her.

" Ok, Cap. Bye." She said walking out of there.

I walked out of there and reached the runway. I found the other crews there. I greeted them.

" Kya baat hai aaj Armaan itna punctual kaisy hogye? Isko Kya hogaya suddenly?" (Arman is too punctual today!!! What happened to him suddenly?) Sonal asked Ragini and they laughed. I chuckled.

" Kya dekh rahe ho?" (Why are you guys looking at me like that?) Armaan asked them.

" Kuch nahi bas confirm ker rahe thay k yeh tum hi ho koyi behem nahi." (Nothing just was making it confirmed if it's really you or not) Ragini said.

" Arey chhodo yeh saab flight ka time hogye. Chaalo." (Leave these topic, it's time to take off. Let's go) Soha said.

" Lekin Captain to abhi yehi hai. Flight koun take off kerwayega?" (But Captain is here only. Who will take the flight off?) Ragini said.

" Tumse baat kerke koyi faida nahi." (No use of talking to you) Armaan said.

We all went inside and I walked toward the cockpit. I opened the door and walked inside. I removed my jacket and kept it on the chair.

" Hi!!" I heard a very familiar voice and turned to see Ian sitting beside me. I looked at him weirdly.

" What are you doing here?" I asked him.

" I am your co-pilot today for this flight." He said to me.

" Like really?!" I asked him.

" Yup. Really. Sit down." He said to me.

" I mean are you sure about it?" I asked him. Before he could say anything I heard Sonal's voice who was making the pre-flight announcement.

" Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard Flight 26D with service from Delhi to Hyderabad. We are currently third in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately seven minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing NY Airlines. Enjoy your flight." She finished the announcement. I looked back at Ian. He sighed and put on the headphones.

" Rock Fort tower, two six Delta (26D), holding short of three six right." He said contacting ATC.

" Two six delta, Rock Fort Tower, runway two six right, cleared for immediate takeoff." The traffic Controller said.

" Roger, two six Delta, cleared for immediate takeoff, two six right." He said and I kept looking at him weirdly.

" Come on. Seat." He said and I nodded still looking at him weirdly. I put on the headphones and was getting ready to take off.

" Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the crew I ask that you please direct your attention to the monitors above as we review the emergency procedures. There are six emergency exits on this aircraft. Take a minute to locate the exit closest to you. Note that the nearest exit may be behind you. Count the number of rows to this exit. Should the cabin experience sudden pressure loss, stay calm and listen for instructions from the cabin crew. Oxygen masks will drop down from above your seat. Place the mask over your mouth and nose, like this. Pull the strap to tighten it. If you are traveling with children, make sure that your own mask is on first before helping your children. In the unlikely event of an emergency landing and evacuation, leave your carry-on items behind. Life rafts are located below your seats and emergency lighting will lead you to your closest exit and slide. We ask that you make sure that all carry-on luggage is stowed away safely during the flight. While we wait for take off, please take a moment to review the safety data card in the seat pocket in front of you." I heard Armaan's voice as the flight took off.

" Why are you here?" I asked Ian.

" You shouldn't be here today." He replied me very calmly.

" What do you mean?" I asked him.

Before he could say anything I heard a gunshot which shocked me at once but not Ian who was sitting there relaxing like it's not a big deal at all. What's wrong with him?!!
