Divya's POV

" Ok, bye. Good night." Sanam said as we dropped her at her home.

" Good night." I said and we waited until she goes in the house. Then Ian stared the car again. He was awkwardly silent since we have come out of the restaurant.

" Everything ok?" I asked him who nodded smilingly.

But I knew he was tensed about something which he doesn't want to share with me. I kept quiet for awhile.

" You are awkwardly silent today. What happened?" I asked him gathering some courage to do so. He shook his head. 

" Wasn't that your ex?" He suddenly asked me.

" Yes. He is. You know that. I don't think you are silent for that." I said to him.

" Why did you go to meet him?" He asked me.

" I went to meet Chitra. She called me. Arun is her cousin. Who knew he would come with her?" I said.

" Hmm... Well." He said and turned silent again.

" What's wrong with you?" I asked him.

" Nothing wrong. What will happen to me?! Nothing happened." He said.

" I didn't go to meet him. I just went to meet Chitra. That's it. Why are you making it an issue?" I asked him.

" I haven't made it an issue at all. I just have asked you because that guy was bothering you a few days back. I just wanted to know what was going on. That's it. And you don't have to explain me anything. Who am I to ask you for an explanation?" He said and I looked at him weirdly.

Is this him for real or am I dreaming?!! He would never say something like that. Last time I checked he was very irritated as I talked to Arun that day. Now he is saying something else. What's wrong with this guy.

" Oh, now you have forgotten the word 'boss'? Weren't you saying that all the time to irritate me as hell?" I asked him.

" I was wrong." He said and I looked at him weirdly.

" Wrong about what?!" I asked him.

" You don't have to know that." He said.

" But it must related with me. I want to know that." I said.

" It's not that important." He said and I gritted.

" Don't act annoying. I can't take that. Act normal like before." I said to him.

" Act like what?" He asked me.

" Bossy and arrogant." I said and he chuckled.

" So you like that side of me?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes.

" I am used to that. Now please don't stop talking." I said to him.

" If I find him around you again, you don't have any idea what I will do to you." He said and I glared at him.

" What have I done in that?! It was him who has come to meet me. I wasn't the one to do so. And I will never ever do that willingly. Why do you have to take my classes? What have I done here?" I asked him and he didn't say anything. " Don't go to the silent mode now. Damn it." I said and he chuckled.

" I was listening to you." He said. "Whatever you say sounds better than an addicting music." He said and I kept looking at him totally speechless.

If it was anyone else then I would say that he is trying to flirt with me. But I as much as I know Ian he doesn't care about girls around him to go and flirt with them. If he says something it's straight from his heart. There is no space for those worthless things to him. He does things which his heart says is right.

" Why did you say that?" I asked him.

" I said the fact." He said to me and I sighed. I couldn't ask him anything else.

Suddenly he stopped the car and I looked at him. He gestured me to get down from the car. I wasn't getting it why was he asking me to get down.

" We have reached your home." He said looking ahead.

Not for once he looked at me. I kept waiting for him to look at me. But he didn't turn to look at me.

" Go. It's already late." He said. I sighed.

" Won't you come in?" I asked him.

" I have met the kids this evening. No need to go in this time to disturb everyone at this hour." He said without looking at me. I kept looking at him for awhile.

" Won't you go in? I have to go home and have some sleep as well. I have a lot to do tomorrow." He said.

It was clear that he didn't want me around him anymore. I don't know why he was doing this. It wasn't for Arun that's for sure. Because I didn't go to meet him. It was Chitra whom I went to meet. I could sense that Arun would be there with her. But I didn't expect him reaching there all on a sudden.

" Go inside." His voice brought me back to reality. I nodded.

I got down from the car and walked past the gate. I don't know why I was feeling so awkward now. His sudden behavior was hurting me weirdly. I don't know what was going on with me. I was so lost and totally clueless about my own feelings that were totally unknown to me.

I walked towards the door and sighed deeply before pressing the doorbell. My finger was about to touch the bell but suddenly someone hold my hand and pulled me toward him. I found Ian standing there in front of me.

" You haven't left yet?" I asked him.

" I forgot something." He said.

" Forgot what?" I asked him. He chuckled.

" This." He said and pulled me in his arms as he hugged me tightly.

I was completely frozen there. I couldn't say anything. I just could feel his breath on my shoulder. I could literally hear his heartbeat they were so fast and loud. I think mine was also accompanying his. It was an unknown feeling which was overwhelming me which was created by him when he pulled me in his arms. What was that making me want to stay here forever?! What was that making me feel so weak for him suddenly?! What was in this which was making me wish to stop the time here as long as I could!!! God, what is this!!!

I kept thinking and he let me go suddenly. I looked at him and he took a step toward me which made me take a step back. He chuckled and raised his hand I looked at his hand thinking it was going to touch me but to my surprise it pressed the doorbell. What Divya!! Were you wishing for his touch!!! I was totally confused with myself.

Amma opened the door and he talked to Amma for awhile before leaving. I kept looking at the way he left. What's wrong with me?!
