Few months later...
Ian's POV
" Ian, why are you in the kitchen today?" She asked me.
" I will took my wife her favorite dish. This why." I said to her.
" You will make me biriyani?" She asked me.
" Yes. Why are you too shocked?" I asked her.
" Aren't you forgetting your works, Mr. Kingston?" She asked me. I sighed.
" Nothing comes before my wife. Not even works." I said. She chuckled. I smiled seeing her smile.
It's not that easy to get to see it often these days. I am really happy that at least she is smiling today. I walked to her and wrapped my arm around her and cupped her cheek before kissing her forehead.
" Keep smiling. It looks better on you." I said and she sighed deeply.
" I will try." She said.
" It's very hard to see you like that when you know you got that smile that can literally make the world colorful." I said to her and she giggled.
" Why are you so cheesy today, Mr. Kingston?" She asked me and I sighed. She must have forgotten the date. No worries. I will make it up for her.
" I have the right to be cheesy with my wife." I said kissing her cheeks. She chuckled.
" You are so gone, Mr. Kingston." She said.
" Why, Babe?" I asked her.
" What do you mean by why? You are acting like a kid again." She said and sighed. I could understand what was going on in her mind.
" Whatever!! You shouldn't talk like that." I said.
" Awwwww, baby got upset now?" She asked me. I nodded. She pinched on my nose. I looked at her weirdly.
" I am not a Baby." I said.
" But you are acting like one. What would I do?" She asked me laughing hard. I kept looking at her smilingly.
" You look divine when you smile. Your name gets justified that time." I said and she rolled her eyes.
" Nice try, Sir. But go make biriyani." She ordered me and I sighed.
" Whatever you wish, ma'am." I said to her and she chuckled.
" Do you know how to make it?" She asked me. I shook my head.
" But YouTube must know that. It will help me. No worries." I said.
" What about I help you? Will it work?" She asked me.
" It will but. I just wanted to do things myself." I said.
" Then we have to starve today." She said and I sighed.
She came into the kitchen and wore the kitchen apron. She looked at the ingredients. Then chuckled and changed some of them. I smiled at her weakly. I really don't know which thing to use. I literally never ever made any Indian dishes. This will be the first time. I kept looking at her. How happy and normal she is now!!! Who can tell that seeing this smiling face that she attempt committing suicide a few days earlier. Depression was eating her badly. Last night she cried a lot in sleep. There is nothing I can do about it but to pray for her. But I don't want to ask anything from God. He always hurts me in the end. This why only this why.
" Why are you standing there like a statue?" She asked me. " Come on help me." She said. I nodded and walked to her. She told me what I have to do there. I started to follow her instructions.
