Today, Thirdy is so busy, because the owner of the restaurant invited his friends and family for a gathering. Thirdy is the head chef in the Pearl of the Orient, of course he's dreaming to have his own place pero syempre kapos pa sa budget.
His whole family is in abroad and are all successful. Siya lang yung may gustong manatili in the Philippines pero kahit ganon they supported Thirdy sa lahat ng plans nito.
Everyone in the kitchen is now dead tired. They're eating the food that they worked on whole night.
"Guys, thank you for all the hardwork. See you tomorrow" Thirdy shouted for everyone to hear.
Palabas na dapat si Thirdy ng Kitchen to change clothes nung biglang hinanap siya nung owner.
"Where's Chef Thirdy?"
Napalingon naman si Thirdy and asked,
"Sir, I'm here. Is there a problem in the food we served?" Thirdy asked walking towards his boss. Inakbayan siya ng boss niya and naglakad sila papunta sa party.
"My friend right here wants to meet you."
Elmer smiled,
"This is Elmer De Leon, and here is Chef Thirdy Ravena"
"Nice to meet you, Sir"
"Drop the formality, Chef Thirdy!"
"I like the food. You're so great. My eldest Loel wants to learn from the best. Do you have time to train him? I'll cover all the expenses of you going there"
Nagulat si Thirdy sa offer at napatingin sa boss niya.
"I'm sure you can leave Pearl of the Orient for a while Thirdy, and you know have fun. So teach my godson Loel?"
Naguluhan si Thirdy, "saan ba to nakatira?" isip niya na kinagulat naman niya ng biglang nagsalita si Elmer.
"Ay. We are from New York. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. " Elmer added.
"Ah Sir, Let me think about it first."
But Thirdy's boss interrupted "Don't worry about us, Thirdy! I'm sure you trained everyone in the kitchen already, and you'll stay in New York for a month only. Mr. De Leon is willing to pay double for you."
"Yes, Chef Thirdy. I really like you and the food so yep, think about it and call me." sabay abot ng calling card ni Mr. De Leon.
"Thank you, Sir for the offer. I will call after I made a decision." He smiled and nagpaalam na sa boss niya paalis na sana siya ng nakita niya ang bestfriend niyang si Van ang anak ng owner ng Restaurant.
"Brooooo, heard that Tito Elmer likes you. He has a beautiful daughter"
"Gago ka talaga, Van. Eh lalaking anak daw yung gustong itrain ko" pero you can see and hear na ang daming doubts ni Thirdy.
"Bro, let's be honest. Hindi ko sabihin kay Dad, I think yung income mo na makukuha mo sa NY magiging good start for your own restaurant. De Leons are really generous baka they will invest pa."
"I'll think about it, bro" Thirdy smiled and let his bestfriend enjoyed the party.
