Chapter 1 - Abnormal School Day

Flashback:

Umi: Uh...... Honoka......

Honoka: What is it Umi-chan?

Umi: Today is the day I will finally do it?

Honoka: Huh? Do what Umi-chan? 😕😕😕

Umi: I'm going to confess my love to Kotori-chan.

Honoka: You'll what?!!!!

Umi: Confess my love for her.

Honoka: Oh...... I see...... Good luck Umi-chan.

Umi: Thank you so much Honoka.

Honoka: You're welcome...... Umi-chan...... ☹️☹️☹️☹️

End of flashback.

Present time: In the room of a certain ginger haired girl.

Honoka: Ugh!!! What was that? I still can't believe Umi-chan would confess to Kotori-chan her love. I was the one who wanted to confess my love for her. I can no longer change that. What's done has been done. Might as well get ready for school. I'm sure they'll be surprised to see me come early. Especially Umi-chan. She always keep pointing out my tardiness.

It's just another typically normal day for Honoka Kousaka. She accidentally sets her alarm clock an hour ahead of her usual time of waking up. She gets up and fixes her bed. After that she takes a bath and gets ready for school. She goes down stairs and greets her parents and her younger sister. And this catches Yukiho by surprise. She greets her family in her usual cheerful attitude.

Honoka: Good morning everyone!!!

Yukiho: Good morning too big sister. Wow!!! I can't believe you got to wake up so early sis.

Honoka: Well I kinda accidentally set my alarm clock an hour ahead of my normal wake up time. Hehe! 😁😁😁 (Scratching the back of her head.)

Yukiho: I see...... Well that's good news for me. At least I don't have to wake you up early anymore.

They all eat and go on separate ways after that. She goes to the shrine first to pray before going to school.

"May something good happen to me today." Honoka says to herself while praying.

She then heads for school and wait in front of the school entrance for her childhood friends Kotori Minami and Umi Sonoda. Unfortunately they were nowhere to be found.

*What the hell?!!!Is it me or is just they're the ones whose going to be late this time. Oh well... Maybe I should just go in and head for the classroom. Maybe they went there ahead of me.*  Honoka thinking to herself.

So she goes in and heads towards her classroom. As she slowly walks towards the room, she suddenly hears two girls kissing and discussing something. She carefully listens before entering.

Kotori: Umi-chan, I think it's too early for this. Doesn't it matter to you if we get caught? I mean we don't know if our classmates will suddenly come in.

Umi: Relax Kotori-chan. I'm sure our classmates are still outside. And besides I'm pretty sure that Honoka is always late in coming to school. She has never been good in coming to school early.

Or so they think. Unknown to them Honoka is just outside the door listening to their conversation. Her anger and frustration is suddenly building inside of her.

*Damn that Umi-chan!!! I swear I want to barge in right now and kick her butt. And then throw her out of the classroom. I should have never allowed her to beat me to the punch. Ugh!!* Honoka thinks to herself as she walks inside.

The two love birds stop what they're doing and greets Honoka as she walks in the classroom.

Umi and Kotori: Good morning Honoka-chan!!!

Honoka: Oh..... Hi Kotori-chan, Umi-chan. I didn't know you two are already in here. Good morning to both of you too. (Flashing a fake smile.) 😁😁😁😁😁

Of course Honoka is only pretending that she didn't notice the two love birds. She already overheard their conversation. But instead of letting it get to her head. She decides to go inside the classroom and ignore Umi and Kotori. And just acted like she didn't hear a single word from both of them. Especially the part where Umi mentioned about her being always late for school.
