Chapter 3 - Left Out

As Honoka walks down the stairs from the rooftop, she is bothered by the fact that she's left out from the group. She goes back inside the classroom with a heavy heart. As she sits down, a familiar voice is calling her name.

Kotori: Honoka-chan where have you been? I've been looking all over for you.

Honoka: Huh??? Oh hi Kotori-chan... I didn't notice you coming in. 😁😁😁😁

Kotori: How can you not notice me when you were spacing out.

Umi: Jeez Honoka, you never really change. I want to whack your head right now. But I can't because Kotori-chan would get mad at me.

Honoka: Oh hi Umi-chan. *Yeah right! Like I wanna punch you in the gut right now.*

Kotori: So where did you head off to anyways?

Honoka: Me???? 🤔🤔🤔 Let me see.... Oh yeah!!! I was at the rooftop clearing my mind that's all.

Kotori then suddenly asked her a puzzling question.

Kotori: Is something bothering you Honoka-chan?

Honoka: Oh no Kotori-chan, none at all. They decided to end their conversation as class was about to begin. *Oh yeah something is bothering me alright. All of you are bothering me with your make out sessions. That's what is bothering me.*

After that all three of them went to the Muse club room. There they greeted their co-members as usual. Until suddenly Nozomi couldn't resist kissing Eli.

Then Rin Hoshizora and Hanayo Koizumi whom she fondly calls Kayo-chin followed. And the other four just went with the flow. A left out Honoka felt uneasy. And decided to blurt out her disgust.

Honoka: Uh guys can we start the meeting?

Eli: Give us five minutes then we'll start. Is that ok with you Honoka:

Honoka: Ok Eli I will just wait outside until you guys finish.

Five minutes have passed and she goes inside.

Honoka: "They're still at it?" Uh guys five minutes have flew by already. Can we start the meeting already?

Eli: Uh Honoka-chan....... Can you give us five more minutes? We promise we'll start the meeting.

Honoka: What?!!!! Nevermind I'll just go to the rooftop and practice myself.

Honoka changes into her workout clothes and heads towards the rooftop. Upon reaching it she does a few stretching exercises. After that she starts practicing some dance moves. Unlike her fellow Muse members, she has a carefree movement. And it compliments well with Muse's dance steps. After practicing all by herself, she takes a breather and drinks some water. She looks around to see if her friends followed. Not a single one of them arrived. And this frustrates Honoka.

Honoka: "Wow!!! This is great...... Here I am on the rooftop practicing all by myself. And I am beginning to look like a fool. Yet they're still probably in clubroom making out like they were in a porn movie. Guess I should just go home and cry until I can no longer shed a tear. I'm totally left out anyway. So what's the use of staying here?"

She changes back to her school uniform and goes home. Suddenly tears start to fall from her eyes. As she cries while walking with her head bowed down. A brunette haired girl with emerald green eyes wearing a military inspired school uniform is walking in her direction. The ginger accidentally bumps into the stranger. This gets the brunette a little upset.

????: Hey! Watch where you are going will you!

Honoka: I'm sorry...... I'm just a little down right now.

The brunette stops for a moment. She looks back to see where Honoka is going. She notices something about the ginger haired girl that made her decide to follow Honoka.

????: *She looks depressed. Maybe I should be the one to apologize to her. And I will ask her what the cause of her depression.*

She decides to turn around and goes after Honoka. She suddenly felt an urge to find out why Honoka is depressed. And this will be a step in what is going to be a beautiful relationship between two school idols. Something that none of their friends would expect to happen. Most especially with the members of Muse.
