Chapter 5 - Not Again (TsubaHono Begins)

As the two girls walk side by side, a bright smile appears on Honoka's face. They soon reach a small two story building with a sign at the middle that says "Homura". They stop in front the building.

Honoka: Well...... We're here...... Thanks for comforting me back there Tsubasa-san.

Tsubasa: Just call me Tsu-chan Honoka-san. And yeah you're welcome. You can always talk to me if you need some company.

Honoka: You know what. Let's not be formal to each other anymore. You can just call me Honoka.

Tsubasa: Ok I'll do that. Tsubasa answers back. By the way I heard that your shop sells the most delicious sweets in Akiba.

Honoka: Really?!! I can give you some of our products right now. Would you like to come in for a while?

Tsubasa: Sure I would be happy to come in.

As they both go inside the shop, Honoka quickly looks for what is their top selling sweets. When she finally found what she was looking for, she wraps them in a paper bag bearing the word Homura.

Honoka: I hope you enjoy them Tsu-chan. (Hands over the bag to Tsubasa.)

Tsubasa: Oh I will enjoy eating them Honoka-chan. So this is it now. Goodbye and goodnight Honoka-chan.

Honoka: Wait!!! I forgot to add a little extra.

Tsubasa: What is it Honoka-chan?

Honoka quickly kisses Tsubasa on the lips and steps back.

Tsubasa: So that was the little extra.

Honoka watches her walk away with both of them having a bright smile on their faces. As she walks up to her room, she discovers a new kind of feeling.

In Tsubasa's thoughts, "did I just call her Honoka-chan?"

In Honoka's thoughts, "did she just let me call her Tsu-chan?"

The following day was much pretty the same. However after classes, it was the same thing all over again even during Muse's practice. This infuriates the energetic ginger. Honoka again says with much authority as she can muster. Even though she's not used to it.

Honoka: Uh guys can we start practicing now?

Eli: Give us five minutes Honoka-chan. Then we're good to go.

Honoka: Not again!!! That was what you said last time Eli-chan. We really need to be focused you know! Ugh!!! You know what!!! Forget it!!! I'm going home!!! You guys just make out as long as you want!!! Just tell me when you will all be ready to practice!!!

Honoka got angered easily with what Eli replied and walks out. All of them are shocked at what she did that made them stop kissing each other. This is the first time they have seen her get angry. Suddenly there was an atmosphere of silence and guilt among the eight girls.

Eli: Are we really that less focus about Love Live?

The others could only response with a nod in silence.

Umi: We were right in making her our leader.

Kotori: This is the first time I have ever seen her snap like that.

Maki: I guess we let her down in a time she needs us the most. Let's all go home and think about how to apologize to her tomorrow.

Meanwhile Honoka is once again at the park. She sits on her favorite position and starts to cry.

Rin: Nya...... I feel bad all of a sudden.

Honoka's Thoughts:

*What the hell did I just say to them? I can't believe I snapped like that. I guess I am also at fault anyway. I should have been more of a leader to them. But still, I can't get over the fact that they would just ignore what we're trying to achieve as School Idols. Aside from that, I really want to save the school from being closed down. I guess this is a sign already. It's probably telling me to leave Otonokizaka and move to another school. And then there is Umi-chan kissing Kotori-chan. With the others it's okay with me seeing them kiss. But with my two childhood friends, it pains me so much. I have been in love with Kotori-chan since junior high. How can we compete perfectly if it's going to be like that everyday? I hope they realize that quickly. But I don't want to leave Otonokizaka. This is where grandmother, and mom studied. I don't want to break the tradition.*

Suddenly it starts to rain hard. And Honoka is getting wet slowly. But she didn't mind. Honoka is now completely drenched.

Honoka: "I guess the sky is crying with me also and hiding my tears. I will enjoy this moment for now. I think it would not be bad to cry in the rain."

Just as she is crying in the rain it slowly disappears from her. An umbrella appears out of nowhere. It is now covering her and once again she hears a familiar voice.

Tsubasa: You know you shouldn't be out here in the rain crying. It seems we have been meeting like this always.

As Honoka turns around to where the voice is coming from, she sees a familiar face. The very person who became her source of comfort.

Honoka: Tsu-chan!!! Yeah...... It seems that every time I feel down you always suddenly show up.

Tsubasa: Did you miss me?

Honoka: I'm sorry if you saw me crying again. And yes I miss you very much.

Tsubasa then invites Honoka to come with her to where she lives. Honoka accepts the offer and goes with her.

Tsubasa: You can tell me everything I want to know when we get there.

As soon as they reach her house, Honoka starts to sneeze.

Honoka: Achoo!!!

Tsubasa: Looks like your starting to catch a cold. (Closes her umbrella and hangs it upside down.)

She gets the key from her left pocket and inserts it in the keyhole. As soon as the door gets unlocked she turns the doorknob clockwise.

She leads Honoka to her bedroom and makes her wait by the bathroom.

Tsubasa: Stay here Honoka-chan, I'll find you some dry clothes. You can take a warm bath while you wait.

Honoka quickly undresses and takes a dip in the bathtub. She turns on the faucet and turns it off gently. Tsubasa picks up Honoka's clothes and brings them to the laundry room. Honoka sits in the bathtub while she waits for Tsubasa.

Meanwhile back at Otonokizaka, the eight girls wait for the rain to stop. They decided to stay in the club room and discuss what happened earlier.

Nico: So what do we do now?

Hanayo: Any suggestions guys?

Kotori: I can't think of any right now.

Umi: I'm still a bit surprised sorry.

Nozomi: Hmmm...... Oh my...... This is interesting. It seems a goddess is falling for a soldier.

Back at Tsubasa's house, Honoka is currently taking a bath while Tsubasa is looking for some clothes for her special guest to wear. As soon as she finds one she places them on her bed. She quickly heads back to the bathroom. She brings two towels with her, one full body and one just right enough to wrap the head.

She knocks on the door. Honoka then opens the door. Tsubasa gets flustered after seeing the ginger completely naked. Honoka teases her a bit and this makes Tsubasa even more flustered.

Honoka: Hihi..... First time to see me naked Tsu-chan? (Flashes a naughty smile.)

Tsubasa: (Blushing at the sight of Honoka being naked.) Just put these towels on and get dressed. I'll go down stairs to make dinner. Would you like some hot soup as well?

Honoka: Okay Tsu-chan...... Honoka replies. But first......

Tsubasa: But first what Honoka-chan?

Honoka quickly hugs and kisses her.

Tsubasa: Oh I see...... *Damn! I never knew that she's a great kisser.*

They quickly separate from each other. Tsubasa immediately makes dinner while Honoka dries herself and gets dressed. As she walks out of Tsubasa's bedroom, she sees another room. She notices a sign on the door that says "My Special Room".

Honoka: *I wonder what is inside this room for Tsu-chan to call it special?*

As she holds the doorknob, and notices that it is unlocked. She quietly turns it and enters the room. She switches on the lights and gets amazed at what is inside the room.
