Chapter 8 - Tsubasa's Dilema

It's a good Saturday morning at Akihabara. And Tsubasa is on her way to Honoka's house. The purpose of her visit is to bring Honoka's clothes to her. As Tsubasa is walking down the streets of Akihabara, she is bothered by a mixed feeling. Part of her is starting to fall for Honoka. While another part of her sees her as a rival. Adding to her burden is the fact that she is the leader and center of her group A-RISE. She loves both her passion for being a school idol and Honoka.

Tsubasa's thoughts:

*What am I supposed to do with my situation? I'm starting to fall in love with the leader of our rival school idol group. But part of me still sees her as a rival. Plus I love them both. I can't make any choices. I love them both. There's gotta be a way to have both without sacrificing the other. Question is... If Honoka-chan also feels the same way I feel for her. If she does, then so be it. And if she doesn't feel the same for me then I will accept it. I think this is what they call destiny. I must have soled under a lucky star.

End of Tsubasa's thoughts.

As she carries a small paper bag containing Honoka's clothes, a red haired girl with purple eyes unintentionally spots her. She then calls up her friends to tell them who she saw.

Phone conversation between Maki and the others.

Maki: Hey girls I just saw Tsubasa Kira walking by.

Nico: "Are you sure with what you saw?"

Maki: I am positively sure about it.

Eli: "Where do you think she's going to?"

Maki: I don't know. But she's carrying a paper bag.

Kotori: "A paper bag? Does it have any specific markings on it. Like a name of a shop or store?

Maki: Let me check. Yup it definitely has a marking on it. The name of Honoka's sweets shop"Homura".

Umi: "Homura? I think I have an idea on where she's actually going."

Maki: Are you sure about that Umi-chan?

Umi: "Yes I am sure about it. There's no doubt that she is going to Honoka-chan's house."

Maki: You better get here girls. I don't know how long I can follow her without being noticed.

Hanayo: "We will try to catch up with you Maki-chan."

Nozomi: "Maki follow her we'll be there in a few minutes. And try not to lose sight of her.

Maki: Will do. Just make sure you get here on time.

Rin: "Don't lose sight of her. Nya!"

Nozomi: "Looks like my prediction is correct after all. When I see Honoka I'm going to give her a massive "washi washi" she'll never forget."

Rin: "Do you have to do that nya?"

Maki: Jeez Nozomi-chan can you please don't do it. Honoka-chan's parents and sister might get shocked.

Unknown to her two other girls have been following Tsubasa. They're trying their best not to get noticed by the people on the street. They are Anju Yuki, and Erena Todo. Both are also members of A-RISE. They discreetly follow Tsubasa who is on her way to Honoka's house.

Maki sends a group message asking them where they are and what time are they going to meet up with her.
Eli replies to her that she will be two minutes late. Anju and Erena had beaten Maki to a perfect hiding place to spy on Tsubasa.

As Tsubasa reaches her destination, she looks up to see if Honoka is awake. She calls out her name. However before she could even shout Yukiho suddenly appears. She gets starstruck as she couldn't believe that Tsubasa is standing in front of their house.

Yukiho: Oh my God!!! It's really you?!!! Tsubasa Kira of A-RISE. (She shouts out while being mesmerized at the sight of Tsubasa.)

Tsubasa: Please keep your voice down. And yes I am Tsubasa Kira of A-RISE. (She cautions Yukiho as she answers.) You must be Honoka-chan's sister Yukiho.

Yukiho: I'm so sorry for shouting. It's just I can't believe you are standing here. And yes I am her little sister.

Tsubasa: It's ok. Anyways I came to Honoka-chan. Is she here?

Yukiho: She woke up early this morning. Our mom asked her to buy some eggs for breakfast.

Tsubasa: I see...... Guess I will just have to leave this to you.

Yukiho: You're welcome to stay here and wait for her to get back.

Tsubasa: Really? Is it okay with you and your parents?

Yukiho: Hey no problem. Any friend of my big sister is welcome to stay.

Tsubasa: Thank you. However, I am more than a friend to your sister.

Yukiho: What do you mean?

Tsubasa: Well you see I'm her girlfriend.

Yukiho: What?!!! How did that happen?

Tsubasa then tells her everything. Including the part where Muse members are making out.

Yukiho: I see... I never knew big sister would be hiding a secret like this from us.

Tsubasa: Actually we're not yet in a relationship. But somehow I feel that Honoka-chan and I are meant for each other.

Yukiho: I see...... But I still can't believe that her own friends would just ignore her.

Meanwhile......

Eli: Maki-chan we're here.

Maki: What took you guys so long?

Kotori: Blame it Nico-chan.

Nico: What?!!! Why me?!!!

Maki: Anyway enough about that. We better hurry up. We might miss something interesting.

Then Maki asks Umi what does she mean that she has an idea as to where Tsubasa is going. Umi tells everyone that base on the logo of the paper bag that Maki told them, she was positively sure Tsubasa would go to Honoka's house.

What???!!!!! The others say in unison.

Meanwhile Anju and Erena were still in shock after hearing what Tsubasa said. Suddenly they hear footsteps coming their way.

Anju: Shit!!! It's Muse!!!

Erena: Should we hide from them?

Anju: No!! We let them see us that way we can tell them what we heard so far.

They do what they planned to do. They waited for "Muse" to arrive. After they've arrived, Anju tells them everything they heard from Tsubasa.

No way!!!! They say in unison.

Anju: Oh yes it's true.

Nozomi: Now Honoka-chan is really going to get a super duper "washi washi" treatment that she'll never forget.

Erena: Is she really into groping breasts?

Eli: Honestly, yes she is. But not most of the time.

Nico: That's not quite true!!!

Maki: Quiet Nico-chan.

Eli: Shit!!! Honoka-chan's coming. Everybody hide.

Honoka: Huh??? I thought I saw some people are hiding behind that wall. Must be my imagination. Oh well...... Time to go home.

She continues walking along the street while humming the first song of Muse, "Start Dash". She flashed a radiant smile while walking home. She doesn't know that her confidant is in her house at this very moment. The very same person that she is slowly falling in love with.
