VI
What a great way to start the first day of school? I'm so pissed with Justin! I don't even know why he thought home school was a good idea. Now I'm here alone filled with a bunch of people I don't know. I honestly don't see the point of getting homeschooled when you have one year left. He's so lame and ann-
"I said excuse me!" A blonde snaps pushing my shoulder to move me out of the way of her locker I presumed. I guess I was so deep into my inter argument about Justin that I wasn't paying attention to the three girls that stood in from of me.
"Looks like she's deaf girls." A girl with a darker complexion said rudely, cracking a half smile as the others chuckled lightly at her rude comment.
It's your first day Brooke, you're not going to let three rich snobby girls walk all over you. Back in New York, you were the one everyone made sure to respect. Just because you're gone, doesn't make it any different.
"For one, I'm not deaf, and for two, don't talk to me like that. I don't know who you think I am, but you're not going to step all over me like you probably do to everyone else in this school. Now, you can move out of my way. I do believe I have a class to attend." I spoke confidently, pushing through the girls to locate my first class.
"Erg!" I heard the blonde grunt. Plastering a half smile on my face, I continue through the school.
As I walk down the hall, I saw everyone starring at me.
Yep, they know I'm new.
Ignoring the many glares, and the obvious whispering about me, I looked down to at the school map in my hands. It wasn't long before I merged together with someone.
"I am so sorry." I say quickly. Instantly feeling embarrassed. Looking at him, and the group of friends behind him, I assumed he was a football player. Or jock as high schoolers these days would call them.
Starring at his muscles through his tight muscle shirt, I fluttered my eyes as his deep, raspy voice spoke.
"You must be the new girl everyone has been saying we were gonna get." He says looking me up and down. I presumed he liked what he was seeing because after he'd finish his examination, he smiled.
"Is it that easy to tell I'm new?" I joked, as a tall, slender, yet also buff guy to the left of the main guy let out a chuckle.
"Well considering you're holding the schools map, and looking like a little lost puppy, yes. If that answers your question." He chuckled.
I looked down at my hands and realized I was making myself look pretty obvious. "You're right. Uh, sorry to pry, but what's all of your names, if you don't mind me asking of course." I spoke shyly. Looking at the ruffles on the end of my black shirt.
"I don't mind at all. Do you guys mind?"
"No, not at all." The quad spoke in unison.
"Well, I'm Liam." He spoke, clearly giving me a wink. I cracked a smile as he continued to resume role call. "That's Brad." He said pointing to his left. Brad was the tall, slender, yet buff guy. He had cherry blonde hair, and a deep dimple on his right cheek. His eyes were crystal blue, and in my opinion, I thought that was a very attractive feature on a guy.
"Hi" Brad chuckled, clearly shy by my presents.
"Hey Brad, it's nice to meet you."
"Same for you." He smiled.
