Yuri!!! on ice yurio x reader

Competition

I paced back and forth as I waited for my turn.
My competition was finally here.
I currently wore my outfit that Alexis had made me.
It was pink with a dark gray ribbon in the back. She had pulled my hair back into a ponytail and then tied another ribbon in it. 

I felt childish in my outfit, but I felt more nervous about screwing it up more then what I wore. 

"Y/n!" A voice called out. I looked up to see four people rushing towards me. Well, more like three people rushing towards me and one being dragged over. 

"Good luck!" Yuuri, Victor and Benny sang together. 

I smiled.

"Thanks guys," 

I quickly hugged them then began pacing back and forth. 

"Actually Y/n," Benny said. I stopped and looked up at him. "Yuri here has something for you," He smiled. I gave him a weird look. 

"What? No I don't!" Yuri said just as confused. 

"Really? Then whats this?" Benny reached into Yuri's pocket and pulled out a small thin box. 

"What!" 

Victor and Yuuri looked fairly shocked as well. 

Benny placed the box in Yuri's hand and without letting go of his wrist, made him hold the box out towards me. 

Hesitantly I reached towards the box. Yuri glared at me then he jerked his hand away from Benny. 

"You're taking to long," he then pushed the box towards me and looked away from me. 

I took the box and I carefully opened it up to see it was a golden necklace with a little cat and a little dog charm.  

"Oh my gosh! I love it!" I nearly yelled. 

"Geez don't go letting everyone know," he mumbled with a slight tint of pink on his cheeks. 

I smiled and then quickly pulled him into a tight hug. 

"Thank you," I said quietly so only he heard it. 

"Now time for the (Nationality) Wolf or Y/n L/n." The announcer called out. 

I pulled away but kept my hands on both sides of Yuri. I looked him in the eyes and smiled then walked away. 

Once I was in a distance away from them, I carefully removed the necklace and then put the necklace on. It fit perfectly and went nicely with my outfit. I slipped it inside the suit so I didn't have to worry about it slapping me in the face. 

I stepped onto the ice and went to the middle of the rink.

Hundreds of people sat in the seats. 

My heart raced. 

I placed my hand onto where the necklace sat in my suit. 

The music started.

I started of nearly instantly with a double axel jump.

"Ms. L/n joined us not to long ago, and only started skating for two years before doing her competitions," the announcer said. 

'F/a/c, are you watching me from what ever universal way you can?' I thought as I went to do a flying spin. 

"Y/n had told us in an interview that her theme this season was Love," 

I did a triple axel jump. 

People applauded. 

'F/a/c, this is all for you,'

I did a flip. 

"She is one of the youngest skaters in this competition, of course next to Jamie Wild," 

I caught a glimpse of Yuri watching from the audience. 

'Yuri? You're watching as well?"

I slid across the ice as I prepared for the next jump. 

I did a triple jump.

The audience applaud once again.

"Well for a girl who hasn't been skating as long as everyone else, she's definitely talented at this,"

'Why did you give me this necklace Yuri? You never had to stay with me through any of this,'

I did my step sequence. 

'Yuri, you used to be who I looked up to for so long. Now here you are, watching me like I once watched you,'

"She said in an interview that she has a certain person she was skating for,"

'Could it be that-'

I did my choreographic sequence.

'That I-'

The song ended. I did my end stance.

The audience exploded with cheers and applause. 

I looked around for one face. There he was. 

"Y/n!" 

I took off skating towards him. 

'Do I?'

He rushed towards the gate. 

'Is this what I'm skating for?'

He reached the gate first. 

I reached up and jumped onto him and wrapped him into a hug. 

"You did amazing!" He smiled. 

"Thanks,"

He looked down and reached over and traced along the gold necklace that peaked out from my suit. 

"You wore it?"

"Of course why wouldn't I?" 

I looked up at his light brown eyes. 

"I'm not sure, I just thought you wouldn't wear it to a competition,"

"Well, thanks again though for all this help, Benny" I smiled. 

He grabbed my wrist and carefully began pulling me. 

"Lets go to the kiss and cry!"

I followed behind Benny. As I followed behind him I made eye contact with those pretty blue/green eyes that only Yuri had. 

"Yuri!" I smiled as I waved at him. 

He just watched me in disbelief as I was rushed towards the kiss and cry. 

I sat down next to Cody and Benny. 

"Y/n has received the score of 92.5!"  the announcer said. 

I jumped up smiling brightly. 

"Yes!" I screamed as I pumped my fists. 

Cody smiled and patted my shoulder as he stood up. 

Benny jumped up and hugged me. 

I looked around and saw Yuri. 

He just gave me that glare that he usually gave me. This time though it seemed slightly different. He wasn't mad but he felt something else. 

'Is it possible I do?' I thought as I watched him walk away. Something inside wanted to rush out but I couldn't bring myself to go run after him.
