Sooner than she would've liked, Dylan was back in LA. And as much as she liked the area, the only reason was because of school.

And, as expected, it was even more boring than she remembered.

The one plus side is that her room mate for her last year wasn't Stella. It was a girl named Liz who she actually got along with quite well. They weren't in the same program, but they happened to have a few elective classes together.

Within the first month of school, they became fast friends, and Dylan was happy to not constantly be alone during the school year anymore.

Sometimes Dylan would take Liz up on her offers to go to the clubs nearby, and other times they'd just go to the movies or out for dinner if they had nothing else going on. It was always fun for the both of them.

One other thing she did find quite entertaining, though, was just how many people had discovered who Queen was.

She heard people in her classes talking about them and she swore she saw at least one person a day wearing tour merchandise on campus.

Hell, the first time Dylan got to her room and met Liz, Liz had been blasting Sheer Heart Attack while setting her stuff up.

And although Dylan didn't have anything to do with their rising success, she couldn't help but feel like a proud mom when she'd hear all the nice things people would say about the band.

She'd kept her knowing the members to herself though, scared that people would either think she's a bitch for 'bragging' or try to be her friend just to get close to the guys.

It was early October, so she'd been back at school for a little over a month, when some gossip magazine had released an issue talking about the members of Queen.

Brian was married and Freddie had a girlfriend - everyone had already known that. So when pictures of the two previously single members of the band with girls on their arms were released, it was quite the buzz.

During the summer tour, there had obviously been press and paparazzi, and the boys had done a good job of keeping Dylan and Grace's faces hidden from the camera.

All there was for Grace was with her walking between John and Freddie, though her face was hidden.

The one that sparked more conversation, at least among others in Dylan's classes, was one of her and Roger.

Not that anyone knew it was her.

Liz has been going on about it to her while they had breakfast together one day, the thought of it being Dylan not even crossing her mind.

The picture was her partial side profile and it was kinda blurry, and although she had been a bit nervous about the possibility of someone approaching her, she couldn't help but laugh when it happened.

She was sitting in class one day sketching on her notebook and waiting for the professor to get there, when she could feel a group of students whispering and looking back and forth between each other and Dylan, and it took everything in her to keep her eyes on what she was drawing.

"Dylan," one of them called over to her. "Do you know who Roger Taylor is?"

Do I....

"From Queen?" She asked and they nodded. "Yeah, I know of him. Why?"

"Have you seen his girlfriend?" The girl asked and Dylan, wanting to entertain herself, just shook her head no.

"Shut up, I showed you the picture of her!" Liz laughed when Dylan shook her head no.
