Matt's POV
I knew my death would come in a matter of minutes, but it seemed as though I was falling forever.
I knew that it was a matter of time before I would hit the ground. I pictured Mia in my mind, knowing that dying with her in my mind was the best way to die.
Finally, I hit the ground and pain wracked my body in waves, then everything went black. I would always love her.
Mia's POV
Pain wracked my body in waves, I had never felt pain to this extent, I knew it was Matt's. I screamed as Zack placed me into his car and started driving like a maniac.
I knew what I needed to do, I opened the car door, throwing my body out. I shifted into my wolf and ran towards the scent of my dying mate.
When I finally reached him my wolf whimpered, he was badly injured. I shifted back and ran to him.
"Matt, I'm here baby. You need to stay with me it's going to be ok. " I cooed.
"Open your eyes for me baby. " Matt's eyes opened slowly, as he took me in as though it was a dream.
"I love you Mia. " He whispered before his eyes drifted closed.
