Matt's POV

I sat in the waiting room staring off into space. Mia would be ok she was strong she would make it. Luckily she was only shot in the arm. My wolf growled at the memory of her being shot. I sighed and was suddenly being shook. " Sir are you here for Mia? " I nodded and he led me to her room. She was laying there looking just as much as an angel as always. " Heyy." she whispered. " Heyy. " I said and kissed her cheek gently. " I'm sorry I couldn't protect you this is all my fault I knew this was gonna happen. "I said tears in my eyes. " No! This is not your fault Matt! You were just trying to protect me and I love you for it. I blame Zack not you. " she said. I nodded.

Mia's POV

I was in deep conversation when the door opened and in walked my father. By his apperance I could tell he was drunk as ever. I gasped and winced hiding from him. Matt looked at me confused and saw my fear. He turned and growled at my father viciously. My father just stood there looking dazed with a smirk on his face.
